Loving Care Pet Hospital

I started seeing Dr. Page about 3 years ago after a horrible incident at Banfield when my shih tzu died during a spay. Dr. Page was kind enough to answer all of my questions and find answers to my concerns even though she was not our vet. This March, my 2 1/2 year old Shih Tzu had a deep corneal abrasion while I was on vacation and she was in the care of my mom. Dr. Page was so kind, patient and helpful as we navigated this horrible ordeal! She was as concerned for my pup as I was. After about a week of trying to treat her eye, the pup somehow got to it and made the cut deeper. We had two options, surgery or removal of the eye from the socket. I really didn't want her to lose her eye and luckily, Dr. Page was able to save it! It took almost 2 months for the ordeal to be over but Dr. Page was kind enough to see EVERY DAY for a month just to be sure she was healing properly. I am so happy that she was able to save her eye and even save part of her vision. Looking at her now, you would never know what happened. I cannot recommend Dr. Page enough. She has been one of the most thorough and trustworthy vets/doctors I have ever used. more

Dr Page and her staff are the best around. My family and I have followed her from Galveston to Santa Fe AND have never in a million years thought of going somewhere else. She is the most caring, most amazing lady i have ever met, and her staff is wonderful!! more

I followed Dr. Page from Galveston to Santa Fe when she opened her own business, and have been there with her ever since. During that time she has had to deal with the loss (untimely) of 2 of my dogs, and has always dropped whatever she was doing to help and comfort us. We just put our little ""Brownie Girl"" to sleep, lost her to mast cell tumors, and I can tell you, she truly cares. Dr Page took Dori home after treating her, and kept her because we were out of town, and she wanted o be sure she was OK That was 2 weeks ago. I call her at any time, and she makes time for me. I could write a book about all the different traumas we have endured with our dogs, and how she has been there for each of them, but I will close by saying, she is an awesome vet, and a wonderful, caring person on top of it. Very, Very good at what she does...and priced very reasonable, check around, her prices are lower than any other vet in the area. more

Dr. Paige and her Staff are second to none! My 3 month old chihuahua came down with Parvo, when I brought Armani in he was limp and non- responsive. Dr. Paige came in and professionally informed us we needed to act now. She informed us of the treatment ,options and risks that could arise. She and her staff went above and beyond to save my little man. Its been a week today that I took Armani in and this morning as I gave him a treat he stood on his back legs... I wasn't sure he would do that ever again. Thank You Dr. Paige!!!! more

I will NEVER step foot near this place ever again. ""Dr."" Page is rude, unprofessional and down right NUTS. We had been going to Loving Care Animal Hospital for a few years and this was the final straw in a string of upsets. I took our dog in to get an allergy shot and there were some new techs. The girl stuck my dog FIVE (5) times trying to find a vein. Finally, it hurt my dog and he barked/growled at her. We muzzled him, no big deal. Until Dr. Page decided to FLIP OUT on me and tighten the muzzle so tight my dog couldn't breathe. As we are paying, she comes barreling into the front office screaming at me telling me my dog was going to KILL my unborn baby (I was pregnant). She also said she hoped for the day she could tell me ""told you"". She is a horrible, horrible human being. For the record, my baby is now 2 and my dog is the most loving, patient and kind dog I have ever had my entire life. I am now taking the opportunity to tell my story and make sure no one else has to listen to rants and judgements. more

Dr. Page is a wonderful vet. Both of my dogs really enjoy visiting with her and the staff at Loving Care Animal Hospital. Dr. Page is a very loving vet to the animals and always does what is best for them. She is always helpful and patient when it comes to animals. Even when I move at the end of the year, I will still make the trip to her office because I want my dogs to be taken care of by the BEST vet I know. Thanks Dr. Page!!!! more

Dr Page truly cares about her patients and their owners. And she is great at diagnosing the problem. My Pug was misdiagnosed twice by another vet, and almost died. Eight years later, and having Dr. Page as my vet, my Pug is healthy and happy, along with my Boston Terrier and my mutt. I love how she and her staff always make me feel comfortable when caring about my dogs. Even though it is a little far for me, I will always make the trip to her clinic. more
