I started seeing Dr. Page about 3 years ago after a horrible incident at Banfield when my shih tzu died during a spay. Dr. Page was kind enough to answer all of my questions and find answers to my concerns even though she was not our vet. This March, my 2 1/2 year old Shih Tzu had a deep corneal abrasion while I was on vacation and she was in the care of my mom. Dr. Page was so kind, patient and helpful as we navigated this horrible ordeal! She was as concerned for my pup as I was. After about a week of trying to treat her eye, the pup somehow got to it and made the cut deeper. We had two options, surgery or removal of the eye from the socket. I really didn't want her to lose her eye and luckily, Dr. Page was able to save it! It took almost 2 months for the ordeal to be over but Dr. Page was kind enough to see EVERY DAY for a month just to be sure she was healing properly. I am so happy that she was able to save her eye and even save part of her vision. Looking at her now, you would never know what happened. I cannot recommend Dr. Page enough. She has been one of the most thorough and trustworthy vets/doctors I have ever used.
