Love Thyself Day Spa is my place to rejuvenate! A very relaxing, nurturing place. I am always a happy, much better person when I leave, ready for the world. Scheduling is easy and convenient, even for earlybird appts. I like the holistic and unique approach that most local spas do not have. There is a feeling that the people working really care about you, your health, and they seem to love what they do. This makes all the difference in the world, which is why I am a regular customer.\r more

After receiving a series of colonics at LTDS, my health has improved dramatically - lots more energy, mental clarity, I've lost weight, my skin has cleared up, no more constant lower back pain, headaches, nor gassy/bloaty, indigestion. and much improved bowel movements. I recently had a bachelorette spa party at Love Thyself Spa. It was the perfect environment - cozy, intimate, beautiful & tranquil. The staff was very caring, paying attention to our every need, also professional and knowledgeable about wellness. Even the spa chef, who had prepared delicious vegan foods for us, came around to explain the health benefits of certain food items. Love Thyself Spa is a great place to help you clear out the “things” holding you back. The Detox program (Colonic) is a phenomenal program at this Spa. The Therapist (Lisa) is so helpful. She explains everything about each program, especially the colonic. I know how scary that “process” seems and I greatly appreciate the introduction seminar she gave. It was very informative especially on how her colonic program works and what others detox programs are available in the DFW metroplex, I went home and started to do my own research. After all the research done I understanding that her process is more naturalistic and is really much easier on your body. There are no vacuums, no weird machines you have to learn, there is no hospital coldness, and there is no smell! Believe me I had reservations but her seminar and my research really confirmed that this process is not at all horrid! I felt that I was more willing to do the colonic. So I set up the appointment. All that she had spoken about she did. The process was easy, she walked me through each step and the care and guidance was really fantastic. I’ve known many nurses and her bedside manner is GREAT! Everything was hospital clean and very private. You are very well guided so that you can relax and focus on really detoxifying. I really recommend her Spa if you are serious about getting a colonic. I went three times and I’ll tell you I have never felt so great in my life. I really feel like I can move forward with my health. Thank you, Lisa! more

My co-worker and I went after work to have the Ion Cleanse Detox Foot Bath at this very beautiful & relaxing spa. The two ladies helping us were very knowledgeable and informative about this treatment and gave us many more valuable tips on how we can further cleanse our bodies and be healthy. They served us delicious, fresh coconut water and did extra massage on our feet after the bath. We really appreciated their going out of their way in caring so much, plus, their patience & kindness since we were 45 mins late getting there thru the rain & traffic. Unlike some places would have done, they did not make us reschedule. more

Lisa has helped me so much through colonics. I originally found the spa through a groupon and have purchased more series since then. I have had digestive problems my whole life, and she really took the time to help me get better. She recommended diet changes and juicing and probiotics which have helped so much. She takes the time to email recipes and tips too!\r The spa is very clean and relaxing. The door will be locked if she is in a treatment with someone, but she never forgets an appointment. If you ring the bell she will come out to get you as soon as she finishes up with her last client. I would recommend Lisa to anyone. more

Lisa has a lovely spa. It is relaxing, beautiful and kept exceptionally clean. I have found her colon hydrotherapy treatments to be highly cleansing and well worth my time and money. \r \r Additionally, Lisa has been very accommodating to my schedule, and while she may be tricky to reach via phone at times (as she stays busy with clients), she always gets back to me via email, quickly. more

I was very disappointed by the service and unprofessional attitude. I called several time over a 3 month period to redeem a gift certificate from my husbands work. I finally was able to make an appointment, but it was 3 weeks out. Then, when I arrived, the curtains were drawn, doors locked, and the lights in the waiting room were turned off. I felt like they had gone out of business. So I went back to my car and called in and it immediately went to voicemail. I was so upset I had just driven 45 minutes to get there and then they weren't open anymore. Found out she works alone and keeps the door locked and failed to tell me this. I would never have felt comfortable getting a massage like this anyway, so I guess it worked out that I never relieved my gift. I would never recommend this to anyone. more

Lisa has helped me through colonics, ionic cleansing, and massage in addition to her wealth of information and knowledge about dietary issues. I would encourage people who are serious about their health to visit Lisa and take advantage of any of her services as she does provide a well rounded palate of options. I went to Love Thyself Day Spa for my first colonic. I was nervous at first but we had to attend an orientation before our colonic. The orientation answered my questions regarding colon therapy and alleviated my anxiety. Lisa guided me through the session while she also shared some wellness tips to maintain and improve my health. more

DO NOT GO HERE. You will risk your sanity, be ripped off, and spend months even trying to get an appointment. If you disagree with the owner on any issue or have questions or concerns, be prepared for rudeness and eventual extremely long, abusive emails full of insults and even racial generalizations (many clients throughout the reviews on the internet have discussed the owners long, vitriolic emails). more

I felt like the massage put a few more years on my life. I would come home after work and have my children walk on my back, I have not had the need to do that yet. My body is relaxed and my mind and spirit have been lifted. I look forward to seeing Lisa again and using Love Thyself Day Spa as a part of my health & wellness plan.
