Special ordered Frog boots said it will take about 7 weeks, No hurry! Came in few days instead! CHAMP!!! Last fall got HD boots, the zipper broke after 3 weeks, they took care of me prompty, was going to get it fixed but was taking too long so swapped for a new pair of boots and has been good since. more

Play loud obnoxious music all weekend during the summer. We cannot do anything outside. No family or friends can come over for b'cue any longer. We sit in the house with the door closed, TV up and can still hear that horrible sound coming in. The police won't do anything about it. I've tried. first off, The employees don't know anything about what they are "trying" to sell. Ive been riding for thirty years and have been in to loves time and time before over the last fifteen years and was usually somewhat pleased. but what that have going on up there now is nothing short of a mess when its comes to service and knowledge. One place I very highly suggest and i know many others do to is, Renegade Classics in Portland. very helpful, knowledgeable about what they sell and the lifestyle in general. They do parts as well, Which most others don't. family operated and owned, and thats what i like. Great product, Great prices. A young man there with a lot of knowledge and very helpful. i believe his name is josh, And i believe there is another ladie there to as well and she is wonderful. Very impressed. I have been all over the country to hundreds of shops like these and loves leathers just doesn't make the cut anymore. And they havn't in the last 5 years and i wouldn't send anyone their way. product is some of the cheapest quality i've seen for the price. And the saddest part is that it used to be a great place to go. check out the folks at renegade classics i highly recommend them. tell josh big dave sent ya. After an interim owner, now out of the business, Wendy Love, the founder, is back. While I enjoyed Love's while it was not Wendy's, I was surprised and very pleased to see her back. The atmosphere in the store, my farorite aspect of Love's, instantly returned to wonderful. I could feel the difference. I was also very happy to see some of the old faces, as Wendy brought back some of her best employees. Her selection is on a grand scale, her prices are very reasonable, and the service you receive is tops. Tammy (T-Bell) and her husband, Chuck, are on site as well. While they run independently of Love's, they do alterations in leather, rebuild saddles and generally enjoy the current gossip. They can do anything with leather. While I have bought all my leather goods from Love's (Jacket, vest, boots, gloves, chaps, goggles, helmet, etc.), I do not need much else. Nevertheless, I am there a couple of days each week as it's such a great sanctuary in which the hang out.. So many friends, good coffee, nice chats and comfort are there. I love Love's, and I do recommend it to everyone, as it is not just a store. It is a great experience. more

I live in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. I had helped a friend move 12/2007 to Washington. He told me about Love Leathers. On our trip up, we stopped in. The staff were courtious, and real down to earth. I had looked on-line, and knew I wanted the 'Coburn' jacket. I tried a couple of them on, and found the perfect one. T-Bell said what it would cost to alter the sleeve's to fit. It was going to take a couple days. I paid, left, helped my friend, and came back a couple days later. My jacket wasn't ready, but it would be shipped free of charge. I call that service. It only took another day or so before my jacket arrived, back home. The Coburn jacket was perfect. Sleeve's nice. In the shipping box, they had sent along a thank you, the invoice, and a little leather toy, addressed for my wife. We both laughed and decided that she and I would go see those folks at Love Leather's again. I'm really pleased that I came here, and met those wonderful people. more

This missive is in response to krhack- While I can certainly empathize with your frustration, it is simply not fair to take it out on the new (old) owner. It was not her businees that "did you wrong,' it was the other owners that owe you. They were the ones that sold you a bogus gift certificate. The new (old) owner was just the lease holder on the building who was faced with paying off a large debt, or going back in business to recover the good will that she previously had. To blame the new owner for your problem is like buying a set of tires form a tire store, when that store goes out of business, a different tire store move in, and expecting the new store to honor the guarantee of the last store. Same building, but different owners. Go after the old owners, not the new. more

We have been good customers at Love Leathers. We bought a $100 gift certificate for our son for Christmas. When we went in to use it after the Holiday, they had a good run for the Holiday and their stock was very low. We were told to come in again later when they got their spring shipment in. We showed them the gift certificate and were assured that it was good for one year so there was no problem in waiting. We went in last week and bought over $400 worth of goods. When we went to use our gift certificate, we were told that they had different owners and they were not honoring the gift certificates. We were given a phone number the call the previous owner and said that she would make good on it. Yeah right! We have left numerous messages and tried to call many more times and we have gotten no response at all. Love Leather should have practice good business and honored our gift certificate and went after the previous owner themselves, but instead they left a good customer out of luck. I will never shop there again and I will tell everyone I know about their bad business practices. Love Leathers is a bad place to spend your money! more
