IMy family and I had been a customer of Louisa's for over twenty years. We loved their pizza but we never had good servicefrom the staff. Any friends or family would often comment either when we were there or when we were leaving that the service was bad and they weren't friendly. Recently, we had an exceptionally bad experience. I went to Louisa's with my family for my birthday. We ordered pizzas and waited for over an hour for the pizzas. When the waitress came to the table with two of our pizzas, she told us that they forgot to put the third pizza in the oven. She asked if we still wanted it and we of course said yes. She said it would be out in about 20 minutes. No apologies were given for the delay. When we received our bill, we thought there would be some kind of apology or adjustment to the bill but there was not. My husband spoke to Louisa's daughter and explained to her we had been customers of theirs for over 20 years and how we have referred many family and friends to the restaurant. A few moments later, another waiter, not associated with our table, came over to our table and said ""Louisa asked me to come over. It is my understanding that you told the waitress to put the third pizza in"". We said yes. He said ""It is your responsibility to pay for it"". We were extremely disappointed. I walked over to Louisa and explained that we would not be coming back to her restaurant. She said to me ""I don't care. I have lots of regulars. I don't need you"". \r

Although we will no longer be going there anymore, we will be going to Ricobene's for pizza on 159th Street east of La Grange in Orland Park. They have a phenomenal deep dish pizza surprisingly similar to Louisa's. It's cheaper and the customer service there is outstanding. Try it sometime!\r
Cons: Terrrible customer service
