Louir's provided the best food consistently over my many many visits there. Great service and a prime location in downtown all add to the reason this is the best restaurant in town. more

My Favorite Austin Restaurant 5/20/2002

A '98 U.T. grad, I return to Austin as often as possible, for football games, live music, and of course, Louie's 106. This place is an Austin staple as far as I'm concerned. The food is consistently top notch, as is the service. Best tapas I have found anywhere! Ask to sit downstairs in the private dining room if you have a large group - the room is wondefully cozy. And make sure to save room for dessert! Pros: fabulous food, good service, awesome tapas more
