Has anyone else had the experience of calling to see when your order was ready, have the people at Lotus Home lie and avoid your calls, and then go by the store in person only to find it closed and gone with my $1700.00? more

RUN! Do not order any custom furniture here! Worst experience ever and I've furnished dozens of homes. It will take many months longer than they promise to complete your order. YOU will have to call them over and over to get updates, and if you're lucky enough to reach them, they will lie to you. Repeatedly. When you finally get your pieces, many months late, they will most likely be wrong and here's the worst part: no apology, and they will refuse to correct their mistake. They are NOT furniture designers; they are INCOMPETENT salespeople. They take the measurements, then when the order is wrong, they will BLAME YOU, afterall you signed their paperwork (which is illegible). Shame on me for trusting them to measure correctly. You will be out thousands of $$ as you will have to order the piece you originally wanted from somewhere else. They will then NEVER return your calls or email. They drop celebrity names to impress you, but unless you are Paris Hilton, trust me, the level of service you will receive is abominable. This was the most stressful process I have ever encountered, and I'm stuck with 2 useless pieces of furniture now. more

I have been coming to this store for the past 2 years and really could no t be happier with my purchase and the service I have received. The quality is unlike any store in Los Angeles and they will custom make anything you want or need. I had always bought pillows and smaller items for my apartment, but had never purchased furniture. When I first time I bought furniture from Lotus home I was looking to get a sofa and bed for a new home I had just moved into. The area of the sofa was a very confusing layout and I had been to about 3 other stores before going to Lotus Home, after going to the first 3 stores I was even more confused about what I might do with that space. The entire buying a sofa experience is already kind of overwhelming and this was going to be my first purchase of what I call my grown up sofa. Lotus Home is a beautiful store and you can tell a lot of love goes into making that store look the way it does. The floor models all looked amazing, but again I was overwhelmed by how any of these sofas would look in my particular space. After talking with a very sweet and helpful employee named Mia she informed that she would be able to come to my home and help me figure out what to do with the layout of my store?what!?!! This was truly music to my ears. I really don?t know a lot about interior design I simply know what I like after I see it. We arranged for her to come to my home a few days later in order to figure out what to do with my living space. She came to my home and was able to show me that I needed to break the space up with a smaller sofa and 2 club chairs as well as showing me where I should place my end tables and that a normal coffee table was not going to work in my space with out it looking crowded. She helped me pick fabrics by narrowing down my options after hearing what I liked and also what would work for my lifestyle and budget (I have a dog and had a baby on the way). When you start looking at fabrics I can?t stress what it means to have someone pick out the best choices and then let you choose from those options. I was also able to stay within my budget, I told her my price point I she only let me see fabrics that would remain in my budget, the last thing I needed to do was fall in love with a fabric at 200 per/yard! She did however give me a great tip for doing my throw pillows, she let me know that we could do the pillows in a high end fabric with a solid back as accents keeping the cost of my sofa down, but allowing me to achieve the funky fun look I wanted. I received my items 6 weeks later and could not have been happier!! The delivery guys set everything up where we had discussed as well as assembling my bed. The quality and construction of my bed, sofa and chairs could not be more amazing and the placement of my furniture it lovely. I would never have thought to get the 2 club chairs, I love the way it looks and the extra details that she helped me add with the tufting, nail heads, as well as adding a different fabric to the back (again something I had never thought to do). This store is great. It really is that simple. I was given an incredible product at a more then fair price and received impeccable customer service. I truly love my home now and it really embodies everything I hoped it would. more

I would always walk past this store on my way to and from working out, but always assumed it was out of my price range. After buying a new home I decided to go in, in hopes of being able to purchase some accessories for my new home. To my surprise not only was I able to afford the furniture I was able to customize my deigns and styles!!! They offered tons of fabrics as well as providing design help. All the staff was friendly and helpful when placing my order. I couldn?t have been happier with the outcome of my furniture. The quality was truly remarkable and I was able to create pieces that truly reflected my personal style while remaining in my budget. I loved this store before going in and couldn?t be happier after. more
