Lotus is always great food. It was nice to have it delivered. Be careful with the naan order though. They charge a ridiculous $5.25 for 1 naan. Well its 1 naan split in half. Delivery was about 25 min later then posted. more

San Rafaelita's rave they're transported to India after tucking into the superb curries, great flavored naan and other delicious items meted out by a delightful staff, bargain hunter should head here for the awesome lunch buffet. more

Great for Catering Too 10/29/2008

My office occasionally uses Lotus for large group lunches. They are always on time with delivery, help us with the set up, and the food is very delicious. After our first lunch with them, everyone said we have to call them again! more

I love the fact that you can usually walk in without a reservation and that you can peruse the menu (and order takeout) online. Very customer-friendly. more

The place had a nice interior design. The food was great. Things were okay when my family and I went there for the first time. However, when dining there for the second time, we experienced a rude, poor, and an unfair service. Even others who came to the restaurant after we did got their food quicker, they were frequently asked if everything's ok, etc. But we didn't get that kind of treatment and they never brang us a couple of food items that we ordered and were still charged for them for no apparent reason. I know a better place in Solano county where the food is just as rich, filling, and delicious and have much friendlier employees too. My family has vowed not to ever go back to Lotus ever since that night. Pros: NOT ANYMORE! Cons: Please refer to my review more

Inside this place an oasis awaits; cool air mixed with fragrant aromas will cool your soul on these hot summer nights. I can't say enough about the wonderful food here and the amazing service. I have been dinning at Lotus for more than five years and I can honestly say I have never had better Indian food anywhere. I feel as if I have stepped into another time when I walk into this place. The music, flowers and the warm hearts of the staff, transport you... I always feel like I am on a vacation when I eat at Lotus. \r \r Try it for yourself and you will see. Pros: Service, convienent location, excellent food options, especially for vegan or veggies... Cons: NOT ONE!! more

I cant stop thinking about how great this place is. You are really missing an amazing experience if you haven't tried Lotus yet. You will not find better food or better service anywhere! Pros: these people are all pros!! Cons: no cons at all more

Probably this his 1st time ever coming to an indian resturant where the service is excellent, food is out of this world and staff is outstanding. This used to be my favorite restaurant untill I went here with my wife who could make out the waiters abusing us in punjabi...\r \r Need I say more?, now I know why nobody from my office goes to this wretched place anymore... Best Indian Food in Marin! 2/9/2007

Great food, great service, great atmosphere! \r \r Especially nice for vegetarians and vegans.\r \r Now their website even offers convenient take-out ordering!\r \r And their prices are quite reasonable for Marin. Pros: Ambience, Lunch Buffet, Open Rooftop, Service, Quality Cons: huh? none! more
