Loren's charged us $185.00 for one hour (if that) for storage and after hours towing. The Winnebago county Sheriff's Department contracts with them to tow off the highway. He is quick for a buck but unwilling to move his *** when it comes to get you vehicle especially when it means that he will be able to charge you more money the next day. What a CROOK!!! more

One star is two stars too many. Loren is a crook, and this is old news to the Oshkosh Police Department. Unfortunately Loren knows how to protect himself under the law. We paid $540.75 to have our car towed. Here's the story: more

Recently we had a very negative experience with Lorens Auto Service in Oshkosh. Lorens was called through the Oskosh Police Department off of a rotating list of contracted towing companies. After towing our vehicle a reasonable fee), the owner charged us $120 for parking from 8pm Friday-8am Monday (60 hours). When we informed him that we were going to scrap the vehicle with another company, he tacked on a $50 release charge that he never told us about. After talking with the police department, our insurance agent, and other auto professionals we have learned that there are many people out there that are unhappy with this company. We have placed complaints with the Oshkosh Police and the business bureau and we encourage you to do the same if you have been taken advantage of also!! This company should not be allowed to utilize public resources to dishonestly take advantage of citizens in our community. Pros: none Cons: dishonest, greedy more
