My Dad came here for rehab and had a completely opposite experience. There must have been a change in personnel. The therapists got him walking better than he was in the hospital. The nurse on the 6th floor (Annemarie, I think that's her name) always called his doctor if anything changed with him. They would always answer the call bell right away even if they couldn't help us right then, they would come back quickly. My Dad had to be transferred to the respiratory floor because he had some trouble breathing and even though its not as new as the 6th floor, it was always very clean. Overall, the nursing staff was friendly and helpful (with the exception of one CNA who we reported and she was taken care of on the spot). Even the housekeeping staff was very nice. They had a care plan meeting with my whole family and talked to us about Dad's progress and what the plan was going to be when he went home. If my Dad ever gets sick again, he will definitely be going back there. more

Except for a few people the staff and management on our floor were very rude and very obnoxious. You are afraid to ask for help and afraid to ask that your loved one be cleaned. Instead of being helpful and understanding, they treat you badly and who knows how they treat your loved one when you are not there. We asked for a few things and the compliance was poor. It's a bad overall culture. You would have to ""clean house"" and get rid of the management and old staff and bring in new, friendlier people. more

My dad was there few months ago and had a very bad experience the staff was very rude I dont know if I should write all of the those people name here but the higher staff is very irresponsible when I had a complain regarding my dad cleanliness I went to complain to Head nuring staff and he was soo rude to me and tried to blame everything on me for his staff carelessness I went to complain to chair person and he just kept on listening to me as if I was talking to wall and didn't took any action. CNA just wants to sit there and do nothing and going to find every excuse for not doing their job. only few person I found helpful there was admitting staff her name is HELEN and one nurse Anjela who really understood my feeling but beside that every one should be replaced speacially head of the nursing whose name is NICK he is disgustingggggggggg more

My mother was a patient there, and the quality of care that she received was disgusting! The employees are rude, and administration does not care. The head nurse on the second floor (vent unit) has no manners and I believe if you?re doing that kind of work you should CARE. I have gone in and seen patience left for hours in there own feces, patients who are not bathed, and when something urgent happens they do not call you. While I was visiting one day, I man walked in with flowers to visit his mother, when he walked in they were carrying out the body of his mom. That broke my heart and they never called to make him aware that she passed. The nurses are always in a bad mood, the doctors have no tenderness care for the patient. I also heard a doctor mention to another nurse ""it doesn't matter, she is going to die any way"" Do these people forget that they have loved ones too? It was a horrible experience, and I moved my mom to a better loving nursing home. She has passed away, but at least she was around people who cared. The staff from that facility should be fired and they all need people skills. Every time I brought a complaint to administration I was told it will get taken care of. I had to demand meetings and I was always told they were ""busy"". That facility should be inspected and closed down. Don't believe there pretty web site, it?s all a lie.
