Excellent Service at Lone Wolf Computers, Inc. 3/27/2012

So I accidentally put my camera card into the CD ROM drive of my laptop. Called Dell, got absolutely nowhere with them. I decided to go up the road and ask for help at Lone Wolf. I was told that they weren't sure they could help me retrieve my card and that it might be two-three days before they could get to it. I left but decided 10 minutes later that I couldn't be without my computer for that long so returned to pick it up. Walked in, it was handed to me with the photo card and I was truly thankful. Great job Lone Wolf Computers, thank you, The best customer service I've ever had. more

Cost Effective - Computer Problem Solvers 10/27/2008

I have a custom built NLE computer that I rely heavily on for production work. One day out of nowhere my Adobe editing software started crashing, sighting C++ runtime errors every time I?d try to execute any of the programs. I spent several days trying to diagnose and fix the problem myself, only creating more problems. With the expertise and knowledge of Lone Wolf's professionals, it was determined that the cause of the errors stemmed from an issue with my Matrox RT.X100 video editing card.\r \r Lone Wolf experts: \r - scanned removed any adware, viruses, or trojans\r - booted and repaired Windows XP\r - resolved issues in the registry \r - removed the Matrox RT.X100 and repaired a fan on the card\r - uninstalled Matrox Xtools and the Xtreme drivers\r - deleted all of the OEM*.inf and OEM*.pnf files from the INF folder\r - deleted the Matrox entries from the device manager\r - scanned hardware changes so that the Matrox Xtreme drivers could be reinstalled\r - reinstalled Xtools\r \r Special thanks to Lone Wolf, because they were able to get everything working perfectly again in no time and I was able to get back to my projects. Days later I started getting errors again, and at this point it was easy to determine that the reason for all of the problems was that Matrox RT.X100 card was slowly failing. If it weren?t for their aid, I probably would have ended up spinning my wheels in circles and wasted a lot of valuable time trying to figure out what was causing my problems and how to solve them. When I find a replacement for my Matrox card I plan on going back to have the good people at Lone Wolf configure my system and install it for me. Not only will it be less stressful, but it will be a lot easier and cost effective for me to employ their services.\r \r Also, my parents send their computer to Lone Wolf at least once a year to have it optimized and whenever else they?re having computer problems. They are always satisfied with the service and price!\r more

Excellent service and pricing 4/21/2008

We purchase many custom PC units per year from Eric at Lone Wolf and have been extremely pleased with the service, support and pricing. We had tried two other independent computer stores in the area and were very dissapointed until we began working with Eric. more

Helpless or Hopeless?? 1/29/2008

I took my laptop in for a general cleaning as it was five years old, working slow,I suspected a viral infection and I was having problems with Excel files. The alleged repair was done in a prudent time frame and the tech even boasted that she repaired Outlook for me - Great! When I fired my machine up,I couldn't access Outlook from my login, had to use my Wife's and when Outlook did open,it would crash every time. The tech's first response was to try to use my wife's login and see what happens -HUH??? Also, all of my wife's contacts were wiped from existence.Asking them about these and other frustrations I had - their standard reply is ""Well you have Mr.Bill Gates to thank for that"".I found out the version of Outlook they installed on my machine was an older version that she wiped to ""fix"" it for me.These people are not computer savvy at all.DANGER DANGER! more
