Excellent Movers With Even Better Prices! 6/4/2011

Good: These Movers were great, very professional, great customer service, affordable prices, took care of all my furniture. I will be using your services again.. Bad: I felt bad that I had these movers moving me in the 104 degree heat, but they took care of me without any problems.. Improvements: Nothing, the move went extremely well.. Affordable Movers with Great Customer Service!!! 5/24/2011

We got back from a 2 week vacation out of the country and got a message from our lawyer that Buyers were ready to close on our house. The closing date kept moving and we had extremely short notice to book the move. To further complicate things, I had to coordinate everything while on a business trip to LA, so it was hard to plan the move but David Martinez (who's one of the consultants there) was extremely patient and flexible, whether it was changing the move date or updating our ever growing inventory lists to make sure his estimates reflected the latest information. She really put the 'service' back into customer service. Once we'd set the date and the rate, I got two calls confirming the move details. The day of the move, Hollin and his team of four showed up right on time. They had our boxes, furniture and artwork packed and out in 2 hours flat and beat us into the city where they waited patiently at our new address. They then unpacked us, reassembled the furniture and cleaned up after themselves in record time. And, they were fun and sweet. These guys knew all the tricks in the book - not a scratch on our furniture, not a screw lost or a glass broken. Thanks Again! more

Not recommended 5/22/2011

Very bad experience. Hired them to pack and move a 2-bedroom apt. Were so late the first day that I just canceled that day. Were 3 hours late the second day, and did not bring enough materials for packing. Their excuse is that they thought is was 1-bedroom. However, there would not have been enough materials even for 1-bedroom packing. Also, they were impossible to get a hold of on the second day. When they were late, I tried calling at noon, then again at one, and every 15 minutes after that. Only got voicemail. Left message to call me back - they never did. The actual movers were good, but the management of this company is severely defficient. Took over 30 minutes to get my final cost so they would unload my stuff. I will never recommend this company to anyone. Stay away! more

The Worst 3/23/2011

4 hours late without a call to tell us they had "truck troubles." We got our stuff after midnight! Now I'm going through my stuff and I think things are missing, so I have to do a full inventory. There are scratches on some of my tables. They might be cheap, but that's exactly the service you will get. Cheap, crap and they steal your time and possibly your stuff!! Do NOT use this company! more

I hired Lone Star Movers moving company to move me from my 3 bedroom house. They arrived on time took great care of all my belongings, as they wrapped and covered all my antiques. Stressless Movers!!! 12/4/2010

There are not enough superlatives to describe how impressed I was with Lone Star Movers. The guys were punctual, extremely polite and got on with the job as soon as they arrived. Everything was handled with extreme care at our old and new homes. The transportation of more challenging items was thought through carefully and executed perfectly. If you want to de-stress the day of your move, these folks will go a long way to achieve that goal. more

Nice Job Moving 10/1/2010

My experience with Lone Star Movers was top-notch. David was terrific to work with, and Ruben and his team of movers were amazing. I don't know how we could have managed our move from San Antonio, Texas to Corpus Christi without them. They moved several supersized mirrors and pieces of art, along with some antique furniture and dishes that have a lot of sentimental value. They were so professional and smart in everything they did, and really nice too. more

Fastest movers 9/23/2010

Thanks to Lone Star Movers, my moving day was smooth. I had Starving Students scheduled in the morning, but the quote given over the phone was absolutely different than the one when they came over. So, I let them go. My friend referred me to Lone Star Movers and they scheduled the move for the same day and there was no surprises when it came to prices. Movers were EXTREMELY fast and they didn't take a break until the job was done (5 hours later). They didn't complain about the broken elevator or uncomfortable location to load and unload. They professionally protected all items. As a Realtor I will definitely recommend them to my clients. more

They arrived early, worked hard, and finished under the estimated time. The price was pocket friendly also. I would highly recommend these movers to anyone that's planning a move. more

Great Care and Service! 9/7/2010

Lone Star Movers was fantastic. They showed up on time, asked of any items that required special attention and even paid extra attention to our cat (who was freaking out)...and then in a SNAP!...got to work. The movers took special care of our furniture and wrapped it in moving blankets. Once we arrived at our new place and all items were unloaded into their proper rooms we were amazed with the friendliness and efficiency of the move. Terry S.? more

The price is the lowest (I check all... 8/12/2010

As a college student living in San Antonio and going to school in Austin, I've had to move in and move out every year. Using Lone Star Movers was the best idea ever. The guys were nice, efficient, and thorough. The price is the lowest (I checked all the other moving companies). What else could you ask from movers?! I just showed them where all the furniture and boxes were that needed to be moved and 30 minutes later it was all in the truck. I got in my car and when I got to Austin they were only 25 minutes behind me. They brought everything up quickly and asked me exactly where I wanted things. If I changed my mind and wanted the furniture switched they had no problem accommodating and just went to work. I will be using the same guys to move me out next June and each time I need to move anywhere! more

Movers # 1 San Antonio Movers! 8/12/2010

Not only did your SA Movers Lone Star Movers get me out of my old home and into my new home lickity split, but it was fun! I like to joke around and some people tend to not get my sense of humor. Your guys were right on it, belting out jokes of their own. I got along with David and Juan extremely well. Most importantly, they laughed and joked without missing a beat. My possessions were damage-free, as was my ego. Even if they were just humoring me half the time, they did better than 99% of the people I encounter. When I move again, you can bet that Im going to want my buddies back at Lone Star Movers!? more

Movers, Friendly, Careful, Fast, Affordable! 8/12/2010

I recently used Lone Star Movers (for the 2nd time, actually) and they were once again, Wonderful! They were on time (early, even) and were polite, quick, careful and had excellent attitudes (especially for 9:00am on Sunday morning). Setting up the moving date/times and other details was also an extremely easy going and pleasant experience. They were reasonably priced and efficient. I will be using the company again soon for more moving out of storage. Excellent! more
