We are landlords in PA. Locators are scammers. Pure and simple. Here is how they actually work. For $200, they sell a list of outdated garbage to unsuspecting people who are looking for a place to rent. All the listings are FREELY AVAILABLE to find on Trulia, Zillow, Hotpads, Craigslist, etc. There is nothing in their lists that add value. Worst part, their "lists" are badly outdated. Nothing you cant find on your own. They list properties in desirable areas on Craigslist and no pics available. They indicate you're going to get the property listings and info. You have to then call listing for pics. Waste of time and money. As soon as I discovered what I was getting, within a few hrs,I asked for a refund and od course I couldn't get it. Ridiculous scam. Don't be as foolish as I was more

My three children and I needed to find a place by months end. I was laid off of my job and my ex-husband was not paying any child support. My wonderful landlords dealt with it as long as they could and allowed us to stay in our Springfield home for months’ rent free. But then they started not being able to pay their own bills with the loss of the rent money and told me I had to find another place to live since I couldn’t pay the rent. They actually signed me up with Locators and paid for it! Locators have a $99.00 thirty day program. With money as tight as it is, it was hard to stay in a good school district; $750.00 a month for 2 bedrooms doesn’t go far in the high end Delaware county towns. After 2 weeks, I was almost resigned that I would have to move to an area with not so great schools, but then I found a place in Broomall which is a great school district! I was looking for a very unique place to live. I am an artist and work from home and need a relaxing and inspirational place to set up my studio. They told me that their specialty was finding just the kind of place I was looking for. The first month, they did have some interesting rentals but nothing that was just right for me. On my 5th week with them, I found the place just like what I had envisioned. It’s a 2 Bedroom old carriage house with big old willow trees around it and a creek out back. The ceilings have the really cool exposed wooden beams & the front door is mostly stained glass! The main bedroom which is what I will use for my studio is huge and the view looks right out to the creek. I can’t wait to start painting in my new place and know that the perfect living and creation space will inspire me much more than where I have been the last few years.
