Livingood's

After surviving Sears and Home Depot's "customer no-service" over a period of over three months, Livingood's delivered my new oven after "only" a period of four weeks, start to finish, with friendly service. They did a great job of installing my 24" oven without having to tear up my cabinets: all they did was adjust the screws on the cabinet doors adjacent to the oven opening. Sears nor Home Depot could do this - they had no one to work on cabinets to get it installed. Home Depot's oven sat in my garage for five weeks while they tried to find another oven or a person to look at the cabinetry. The Sears man wanted me, a middle-aged woman, to help him lift the oven out. In the process, he nicked my brand new black leather dinette chair. He also told me to give him all 5"s on his evaluation or else he would get written up. Livingood's was the least of three evils. Doesn't anyone want to self ovens anymore? But at least the installation was done well, and now I have an oven. There is a God more

Ordered appliance 2 1/2 weeks ago and paid in full. Appliance delivery was delayed over and over again. Won't shop there again. more

When I needed a new refrigerator, I went down the road to Livingood's with the dimensions of the space into which the appliance would have to fit. I picked one out which the salesman said would fit ..No Problem.\r The next day when the delivery men came, they removed the old refrigerator, measured the space agiain (the same dimensions I had specified) and said that the new refrigerator in the truck would not fit into the space. This was a Saturday. I had to go back to the store. pick out another model which could not be delivered until Monday. My Sunday and a lot of food was spoiled as a result.\r What got me the most was the uncaring attitude shown by the salespeople.. They almost made me feel that this was all my fault. more

While shopping for my uncle a washer and dryer we went to this store. I couldn't believe how laid back they were as to working out something to make a sale. We were ready to buy on spot when found something and had priced and shop other stores in the area. The sales person just didn't care.. I thought at least she could of done was to talk to the manager and see if they would done free delivery but she didn't even do that. Needless to say we ended up buying the washer and dryer simular one at Best Buy. PROS: Nice store , good parking CONS: Not that great prices and lack of customer service more
