I second the BEWARE! Check out filtered reviews on Yelp. The director has wronged so many families, that she has to manage her yahoo and yelp by not letting people post. She sent 5 families to collections in one year, yes including me, for time we did not spend at the school. She did not manage bad teachers, the best teacher left years ago. We had to pay her a ton of money we did not owe her because a lawyer would have been more expensive. Trust me, there are much better places to send your kids more

BEWARE!!! 12/8/2011

I am searching for a preschool for my son, and have looked at reviews for this school on yahoo, google, goodschools, and citysearch. I was horrified to find that all the reviews for this school are, WORD FOR WORD, the exact same reviews and all 5 stars. I. How stupid to copy and paste reviews across the board to ALL of the sites!! I've come here a few times to pick up my granddaughter and was impressed with the atmosphere and instructors. They are very nice and my grand baby loves coming here. more

My son has a great time at this school. He has so many friends here, and his teachers really love him. I am very happy he is at this school, I believe it was a really great decision to put him here. I feel like he has learned a lot in the year he's been enrolled. more

This is a great school. My daughter is currently attending, and her and I just love it. She is always so happy at the end of the day, and there are tons off opportunities for the parents to get involved. more

My daughter attends Little Oaks and LOVES IT. It's a very clean, bright and happy place. The staff is very understanding and helpful. The kids are happy. The teachers also understand that working parents have crazy schedules. They kids work on academics and lot of fun projects. I would highly recommend it. more

Came Right Back 10/12/2011

I sent my daughter here for her first year after moving here. We left for a short time to try something else, but ended up right back here because nothing compares to how special this place is! I am so happy with her education and the social skills she had developed here. more

We Trust Her 10/6/2011

I was so relieved when I finally found a child care for my two little boys! I searched for quite some time before I found one that I was happy with, where I knew my boys would be safe, where I knew my boys would be loved, where I knew my boys would learn and have fun!!! I had been interviewing places after places and going into many different homes and businesses when finally I entered the Little Oaks Montessori!!! I knew at once that this was the place! My mind and heart were instantly calmed as I watched the staff interact with my boys from their very first meeting. She is extremely engaging and has an obvious heart for little ones! She has a background in Montessori schools, so she not only cares for my boys, but also guides them developmentally in their learning through fun and engaging activities. My boys come home singing, dancing, counting, coloring, eager to sit and ""read"" through books. Very close friends of ours, after having their first baby girl, have also put their precious daughter in Little Oaks Montessori! We trust her, unquestionably! more

I've had one daughter just graduate and one start kindergarten and one who is in the pre-school class and I do not have a complaint. I've seen my children grow so much in this environment. more

Great Job! 9/12/2011

We saw a significant change after enrolling our daughter and first child in Little Oaks. Tiffany did a great job with her, was extremely patient, the work was evident in her in the way our daughter behaved at home and with family. When she transitioned into the older class, she had a great time, it seemed she never wanted to leave and was excited about coming back the next day. more

Organized! 9/9/2011

I was surprised to see the other review on here because it doesn't sound like the same school. We checked out Little Oaks (on Petaluma Blvd.) carefully and they seem extremely organized; we have met with the director (who does have a Ph.D.) several times and she is the opposite of being ""jittery and lost""--she was very knowledgeable and organized, and impressed both of us and the grandparents. And they are certainly set up to accept kids in diapers. We started our son there before he was 19 months old, and he is still there. I have also met several other parents there with older children who are repeat customers. more

Improved my childrens acadmic and life skills.... 8/17/2011

My eldest has just started kindergarten and because of the independence and confidence she learned in the Montessori program, she is already taking a leadership role in her new class and showing signs of being far ahead of the other children in not only academic skills but life skills. more

My daughter is so happy here! 8/9/2011

My daughter started just over 3 weeks ago. She absolutely loves it at Little oaks. She started with out any potty training at all, and now she is using the toilet. In a little over 3 weeks I have noticed a drastic change in attitude, concentration, manners, eating and most importantly sleeping. We have little to no meltdowns woo hoo! My daughter is happy when I leave her and happy when I arrive to pick her up. Here are the pro's 1) all the teachers are great. 2) they take infants so if you have 2 or more kids they can be in the same place. 3) it's a quiet and calm environment. 4) basic life skills are key to their program. 5) they have early and after care. 6) endless possibilities to have your child thrive and learn. My daughter is an only child and both of her teachers have one child of their own and they could relate to my daughter really well. more

My children have gone to this school for several years - from preschool to elementary. CAN'T SAY ENOUGHT GOOD THINGS! It is a wonderful environment for children that need a small and nuturing environment. The teachers are bubbly and loving. Admin and staff always have a door open.
