How our hair goes is sometimes how we go. If we're having a bad hair day, or even worse, our gray hairs are making a quick comeback, life can come to a complete halt (well, not really). To solve this problem, I make my way to the Lisa Powers Salon for a good cut/color fix. I've been a customer of Lisa's for many years. She's talented, creative, and good at what she does. She has surrounded herself with quality stylists and takes incredible care of her customers. You can be assured that when you walk out of her salon, you'll look and feel even better that when you arrived (they also make a great latte). It's not that I expected to become a mom of 4 and let myself completely go. It just kind of happened. In between this lesson and that game I never thought about taking a moment for myself, until one day a girlfriend of mine (with 2 young ones) showed up to the soccer field sporting the cuttest bob I have ever seen. I asked who her stylist was and she said Sarah at the Lisa Power Salon. She said since the "make-over" her husband has not stopped smiling. I can see why, her hair was AMAZING. I had to see Sarah for myself. It was about time. So I made an appoitment and Sarah worked her magic. Next thing you know, I had to pick my husbands jaw off the ground. All he could say is WOW. Finally, after years of devoting my energy to my kids, I feel pretty again! Now, I love my kids, but I must admit that I have kind of slid in the beauty department for the last 20 years, so needless to say when I walked into the Lisa Power Salon Sarah had her hands full! I explained my needs and limitations and she patiently listened, offering solutions and suggestions that I could truly work with. The outcome was amazing, Sarah was right on the mark, and now I have gorgeous color and a modern haircut. i would highly reccommed Sarah to anyone and everyone, and my husband says thank you too! At the risk of making Jeremy the most sought after and busiest stylist in the city, I have to let everyone know how absolutely FABULOUS he truly is! I have been a long time client (and past co-worker) of Jeremy's and can't emphasize enough about how talented Jeremy is. His hair cuts are wonderful, they grow out beautifully! And his color...oh my gosh, I can't even think of where to begin on his color. His talent, creativity and artistic vision is unmatched! I'm able to completely trust Jeremy and let him do what ever he visions...and my hair always comes out more fabulous than the last time! And each time, I never thought that would be possible. But not only does he do great hair, he is genuine and caring. He listens to his clients, takes into the consideration their lifestyle, personal style and basic needs and creates a look that suits them perfectly. Thanks to Liseth at the Lisa Power Salon, I can't stop looking at myself in the mirror! I absolutely LOVE my fresh cut and shiny beautiful color. Liseth is an amazing stylist, I showed her a picture of what I wanted and I could not be more happy. I really appreciate how detailed she was, and because of that my hair lays PERFECT! I have naturally curly hair that I have always considered difficult to handle. Now that I'm getting gray I have to color it every 5 weeks to keep it covered. Jeremy found just the perfect color for me that flatters my coloring and looks very natural. He has taken the time to show me what products to use on my curls and how to apply them correctly. I have even gotten compliments on how healthy my hair looks. In the past dryness and frizziness have been a constant problem for me. Pros: Staff is very welcoming and they always offer you a latte. I recently visited the Lisa Power Salon after seeing the same stylist for years. I was ready for a change, and had researched a lot of salons in Seattle and the Eastside. After reading all of the reviews for Sarah I decided to book an appointment with her. Man am I glad I did!! Not only is Sarah an amazing stylist, but she is truly down to earth and fun. Upon arriving here for the first time, I immediately felt welcome. All the staff are incredibly friendly and Sarah, don't even get me started with how wonderful she was! She spent 3 hours cutting, coloring, blow-drying, and flat-ironing (I have A LOT OF HAIR!). The end product was beautiful and I loved the time I spent there. I have really thick hair and a lot of it and she made me look like a better version of myself when she was done. I would recommend her to anyone! Sarah is the best! Jeremy has given me the best haircuts I've ever had! He always takes time to listen to what you want and if you don't know....he's always got the best ideas that will make you look awesome. Add on great conversation, his tasty scalp massages, and the fun & friendly atmosphere that Lisa Power provides....you gotta try it. Did I mention they make lattes? Well, they do. more

Went to Lisa Power salon on a referral from a friend who loves it there and had my hair done by Sarah. Mind you, I'd had a HORID coloring experience in the recent past and my hair was fried...totally. Sarah was adorable, sweet, and completely honest with me about my hair...what needed to be done, how long this process would take (months) and helped me pick out an appropriate (yet cool) color. I rarely walk out of a salon with a cut & color I love, let alone, one that I can manage to do my self at home. Sarah seriously made my hair look healthy...gave me a great color. A month later, my hair still lokks 100% better. I'm on my way back in a week - I highly recommend this salon and Sarah. THANKS!! more

Where does one begin when there are so many amazing things to say? After living in Seattle for nine years and endlessly searching for a stylist, I found it with Jeremy Novak. Jeremy has been my stylist for the past four years, and my search is finally over. After moving from another salon to Lisa Power Salon, the experience is so much better. I can hardly wait to get to the salon on the days of my appointment. The staff is extremely friendly and treat you like famly wether your a long time client or it's your first visit. To begin, Jeremy's shampoos are to DIE for. He takes his time, massaging your scalp making you feel like you are on a mini-vacation. Jeremy knows hair and color better than any stylist I have known. I spent years coloring my hair blond and loved it, but on a teacher's salary it was hard for me to maintain. I spoke with Jeremy about htis, and he created a look for me that is easy to maintain, grows in beautifully and allowed me to lessen my trips to see him, thus lessening the cost. He is a true professional. He listens to clients and values them and what they want. He is a visionary and each time my color and cut is finished I am amazed at the result - after all, how can you top perfection? Jeremy works hard to perfect his craft, by taking classes and teaching others. He then shares his learning with his clients by making sure they are able to maintain his work at the salon at home. I can't even count how many compliments I have recieved over the years, and how many people I have refered to Jeremy, and each one of them is just as satisfied as I am- and you will be too! more
