ok here we go...had put one of those heaters in layaway and decided againist purchasing it. called customer service and was reassured that even though they did not give refunds they did offer in store credit...thought to myself sure...drove 45minutes to johnson city gather some things i could use as christmas presents and went to check out.....was told they did not do that and so i explained i had talk to ""jan"" with customer service and she had told me about the in store credit...goes down hill from there...they informed me that customer service wasnt even open today and that was impossible...i called customer service back and again spoke with ""jan"" and explained to her that they were telling me that it was not something they did...so i gave the very rude and unfreindly saleslady my phone she spoke with ""jan"" and gave the phone back to me and said its over no such can happen.....what a joke are you serious...how does this place operate like this and stay in business.....johnson city hhi...i will never grace that place with my presence and hell will freeze over before one penny is screwed out of me again....shoppers take extra precaution with your hard earned money...dont get it taken away from you and lied to as i was!!!!! more

i went into this store to purchase something, the lady ran my debit card 3 times. this caused me and my wife alot of trouble, caused me to be overdrawn in the bank. got a 35 dollar charge. when i contacted them i was told to come over and they would resolve, drove back again from greeneville, and they told me they couldn't do anything. got a call from the lady that is over accounting in pigen forge, she called me a liar when i told her my debit card was ran 3 times, said they didnt even have a debit card device. these people are very unprofessional, and i will never visit them again, or the one in pigeonfordge. ALL BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!! please stay away from this place. i would feel better if they just robbed me straight out. Pros: there is none Cons: the store is allowed to stay open! more

I bought 3 of the HHI 1500 electric heaters; one as a birthday gift and two to replace a couple of space heaters. When I got home, I read the manual and setup one of the heaters in a 14? X 10? room and turned off the electric wall heat. Eventually, I had the HHI heater set on Large room & High heat which is the setting for heating 1500 square feet. With the temperature at 35 degrees outside, the room got colder and colder until I had to turn the regular heat back on. The HHI heater set to heat 1500 sq ft wouldn?t even heat 140 sq ft. The next morning, I returned the heaters and was made aware of their NO RETURN policy and ordered out of the store. I am 59 years old and as a customer have never been treated so rudely and disrespectfully. I did not expect two heaters to heat my entire 1,100 sq ft house but $1,248 is a lot to pay for merchandise that does not perform even remotely to what is expected. Do yourself a favor and order by phone, or the internet, at least you will have the 30-day satisfaction guarantee, or save some money and get a cheap space heater; they heat much better. more

I bought one of the 1500 Iheaters. it works good and keeps my darn heat pump from running constantly. i would recommend this store and product more

I bought a Hhi 1500 electric heater from there. It is the biggest ripoff I have ever seen. I tried to tale it back to the store and try to work out some sort of replacment for it or my money back. I didn't know they had a ""NO REFUNDS"" policy till I purchased the heater and then it was too late to get my money back. Now I am stuck with a heater that doesn't heat my room even with other heat on. I encourage anyone who reads this, to NOT buy a heater from them... more
