I bought 3 of the HHI 1500 electric heaters; one as a birthday gift and two to replace a couple of space heaters. When I got home, I read the manual and setup one of the heaters in a 14? X 10? room and turned off the electric wall heat. Eventually, I had the HHI heater set on Large room & High heat which is the setting for heating 1500 square feet. With the temperature at 35 degrees outside, the room got colder and colder until I had to turn the regular heat back on. The HHI heater set to heat 1500 sq ft wouldn?t even heat 140 sq ft. The next morning, I returned the heaters and was made aware of their NO RETURN policy and ordered out of the store. I am 59 years old and as a customer have never been treated so rudely and disrespectfully. I did not expect two heaters to heat my entire 1,100 sq ft house but $1,248 is a lot to pay for merchandise that does not perform even remotely to what is expected. Do yourself a favor and order by phone, or the internet, at least you will have the 30-day satisfaction guarantee, or save some money and get a cheap space heater; they heat much better.
