I was really unhappy with the sales process and total lack of integration into the facility. They say one thing when the opposite is true. It was a terrible experience and 1st impression.
Part of the deal is one session with a trainer. All I wanted was to be shown some of the machines and to get comfortable with the facility. I was later told that is not what the session was for. It is just business development for the trainers. This is not a place for a newbie, unless you are willing to pay even more money to work with a trainer, just to get familiar with the facility and the equipment.
The club is very expensive. I would have thought, there would be someone there one could go to to help one get familiar with the club. It is a huge place and I wanted to get the most out of it. Not so. I was totally put off by the attitude. They are VERY VERY full of themselves at CCAC. The sales staff just want to make sales. The client experience is someone elses job apparently and not their concern. That is very very clear.
On the good side, the line staff are great! Very helpful, upbeat, fun.
The facility is beautiful.
I began working with a personal trainer and he is FANTASTIC- Michael Ditchfield! The best part of CCAC and well worth the investment. He changed my mind about the whole thing.
The club by itself is too expensive though and justifies its arrogance by its proximity to Cherry Creek and Cherry Creek clients... which I happen to be, but there needs to be a cost / value proposition to every purchase and CCAC does not get it.
If you join and are not already familiar with weights and machines and proper form, sign up for sessions with a personal trainer. It is the only way to get familiar with an overwhelming facility, sold by people who could not care less if you use it or not.
Pros: GREAT personal trainers, Terrific LINE Staff (excluding sales / office) , Beautiful Facility
Cons: Arrogant Sales Team, not interested at all in the client experience, will say anything to make a sale. Very expensive. Cost v. Value just not there. Parking
