Cherry creek athletic club continues to lose members on a daily basis due to the fact that during the entire spring and summer and some fall they have screaming kids running allover the place. I left in june when I couldn't take it anymore. I am not kidding, it is terrible. They have these supposed rules about conduct and where kids are supposed to be, but it is far from reality. The locker room is filled with them screaming, getting into the hot tub (which is supposedly not allowed) and in the showers. Nothing like a nice peaceful shower after yoga!!! more

The locker room is filled with them screaming, getting into the hot tub (which is supposedly not allowed) and in the showers. Nothing like a nice peaceful shower after yoga!!! The parents of these kids truly act like they own the place. You ask them to make some room for a paying member and perhaps move their blowup pool toys and they act like you have just taken their first born. I made several complaints to the management and they did NOTHING about it. If you have little monsters or enjoy that type of environment when you are working out and "relaxing" at the pool, then this is the club for you. more

I moved here from L.A. and have been a member for three months now. I have been very impresed with the level of service and professionalism with the staff. The front desk staff greets me with my first name and a smile when I enter which is nice after a long day of work. The group exercise instructors and spinning and bosu classes the club has to offer are the best I have seen. Since joining I have lost that last 5 pounds I have been trying to lose for 2 years now and have really been enjoying exercising thanks to CCAC!!! Give me a break. I have been working out forever and been a member of several health clubs throughout the country and this place is TOP NOTCH when it comes to taking care of its members. I am tired of listening to all the complainers who dont get their way so they act like children! It's a business and like all businesses, they have to do what's best for the majority of members - that's probably why they are still in business and have the money they do to make all of the great improvements. Get over yourself and stop complaining or go somewhere else because all of the members here (99.9%) including myself love this club and we would rather the complainers go somewhere else. Start appreciating what you have because the other clubs dont want you either. If another instructor doesnt teach more classes - have you ever considered that they dont want to???? This club has really improved their facility and class offerings in the last few months. They are really trying to salvage the lost relationships and have gone far and wide to please the members. I was ready to leave and now have changed my mind and wanted to edit my review to reflect my feelings. Thank you cherry creek for thinking of your members! more

I have been a member at CCAC for many years now and overall it is one of the best places, with a great location in Denver. I love many things about the club including the people working there, well Most of them anyway. The issue I have is I put suggestions in all the time about class offerings and I swear, they go and do the opposite every time. I asked for more Dance classes and that same month they cancelled 2 of them. I told them they have too many yoga classes and they added more...then they got rid of my favorite yoga teacher. I don't think the person in charge of scheduling these classes knows what she is doing at all. I even emailed her and she doesn't return emails. Sometimes I feel they are more interested in pleasing the obnoxious kids that are screaming everywhere than they are pleasing a member of 13 years. more

I just love this Club... From the Front Desk that always knows my name to the housekeeping and fitness staff, I think they are just great. I am especially happy that the housekeeping staff works so hard to clean up towels etc after members who didnt seem to learn these skills! Pros: staff is very friendly! I've been a member of Cherry Creek Athletic Club for well over five years and each time I come to the club I'm pleasantly reminded why I chose to become a member of this club. The front desk staff always greets me by my first name. There aren't that many places in this fast-paced world where one can still get name recognition like that. As a matter of fact, the entire staff is so overly helpful! I'm also excited with the constant flow of new state-of-the-art equipment the club management brings in. This team really knows that health and fitness is a continually evolving science and do their best to provide me and other members with equipment which allows me to push the envelope with my workout program. The club is always clean and I'm sure this is due in part by the full-time/ 24 hr housekeeping staff. One of the elements that I'm surprised about is the wide-selection of classes (140) throughout the day-starting as early as 5:15am thru 6:45pm/ 7days a week. The outdoor pools are quite beautiful and I always feel like I'm on vacation when lounging poolside. This club sets the bar high in the fitness industry without the risk of placing its self in an "elite" status where members and guest might feel snubbed. The Cherry Creek Athletic Club is definitely my sanctuary from the go go pace of the world. Pros: Wonderful location and just off the Cherry Creek bike path more

I left the Cherry Creek Athletic Club a couple years ago and moved to Chicago. I joined what was touted as Chicago's version of Premiere Club in the City. I tolerated the mediocre experience while I was there. It was not until I rejoined the Cherry Creek Athletic Club when I moved back this year that I remembered how nice it could be to be a member of a club. I am home again. The staff hadn't turned over much in the time I had been gone. Not only did they all greet me, they seemed legitamately excited about my return. In the last couple years, they have added considerable new upgraded equipment as well as putting what looks like a substantial amount of money into capital improvements. They have probably added another 50 group exercise classes since I was here last...Urban Dance, multiple Yoga and Nia classes. It's unbelievable. There are classes here that I hadn't even heard of in Chicago. They've also added membership socials--on site parties and off site Happy Hours--to continue to add to the benefits of being a member. Coming back to this premiere club has made a tough move back to Denver a much more pleasurable experience. I don't get off work until 5:30 or 6pm and I have many classes to choose from in the evenings and on the weekends. Speaking of the weekends, you've got to go hang outside at the pool and cabana area. The views, the music, the smells and the SIGHTS:-) Thanks to the staff and the members at the Cherry Creek Athletic Club for making exercising something I actually look forward to! A premier, high end club is --------------pura vida-------------------, you pay a little more. I had a tour and it really puts cherry creek athletic club to shame even calling itself a high end club. what a joke. Check pura vida out. Pros: 0 Cons: lots more
