I went to Lia Hyundai to take advantage of .9% financing during April 2011. The salesman, Jason Cosmo, was extremely helpful in trying to find a basic silver Sonata for me. They d...

Be warned: do NOT give Lia your e-mail address. Whether you get a car from them or not is up to you, but do NOT give them your e-mail. They sell this to spammers, and then I called them out on it they never responded, which is as much of an admission of guilt as you can have. (I was able to trace the source of this spam to Lia)... 40-50 spam e-mails a day now thanks to them. As for my car, I am satisfied. As for their service, they do what they need to do. Take that both ways: they'll do what you expect, but nothing of what you don't. more

Not happy with LIA Hyubdai 3/17/2012

Purchase new accent Never offered test drive- told had many features car does not have. Finance ofice put extended warranty on our sales contract without our permission in amount of $1800.00 Had to go home and goggle in order to find out how steering wheel adjusted, and was not even shown how to open hatch. Was not inroduced to service told oil change was $89.95, so they also sold us $500.00 plus service agreement, got e mail from service dept offering oil change for $19.77. DO NOT RUST FINANCE DEPT more

WARNING: Do not buy from Lia 1/19/2012

DO NOT buy from Lia. If you must purchase a Hyundai, and I absolutely love my 2011 Sonata, do so at another dealership. I made a HUGE mistake buying from Lia. My new 2011 Sonata came with a defective Kuhmo tire that pulled so hard that if you took your hands off the wheel, it would leave the road. I told Lia and their response was that I had to contact Kuhmo. For about $50 at their cost, Lia could have simply replaced the tire and they would have had a loyal customer. Kuhmo NEVER returned any of my calls. So, I went to Sears - an authorized Kuhmo dealer. In writing, they confirmed that the tire was ""cupped and had numerous flat spots."" Again and in writing, Sears claimed Kuhmo denied the request. Unbelievable!!! So, I then went to Garvey Hundai in Glens Falls and again in writing, confirmed that the tire was bad and should have been under warranty and HAD i bought it from them, they would have replaced the tire. Since then, I have had two other repair shops put the same thing in writing. All to no avail. And despite numerous other calls to Lia, NOT a single call back from them. So, my advice is to NOT deal with Lia!!! Go elsewhere, we hopefully you will get better customer service - which is non-existant at Lia. They will never get another dime from me and furthermore, hopefully this one post will result in loss of possible sales from others down the road. So, Lia, was it really worth it??
