Worst

Our Daughter considered renting from Lexington Management and told them that she was on Housing and needed to be approved by Housing. Well, Housing wrote a letter to our Daughter ...

My husband, daughter and I moved to Green Bay WI in October of last year. We found Stone Meadows Apartments a new apartment community that was being finished. We thought great this apartment has never been lived in, and the apartment itself was decent. The big problem here is the management, not the individual apartment managers per se but the corporate management office on Kimps Ct that manages the apartments. They only care enough to be nice to get you in the door, after they the are insensitive, uncaring and almost hostile at times. If you have an issue with your apartment they will get to it when they are good and ready, if you are even a day after the first of the month on your rent you pay a $50 charge. I never had that problem but find it interesting that they require you to be that on time with your end of the bargain but hold up theirs whenever they feel good and ready. If you call in, don't expect an answer right away, they will likely send you to talk to at least five different people and your issue still won't be resolved and they will do everything they can to not refund you your deposit or any money owed to you from them. This was the worst apartment living experience I have ever had and I know about apartment living, I was in the military and moved around a lot. They could care less if you are in the military, they won't work with you on anything. Don't rent from this establishment if you like good customer service or to be taken care of as a renter as you should. The best decision we ever made was buying a house and moving out of this apartment complex. We love Howard WI but would never live here or any other Lexington managed complex or home again! more

Very, Very disappointed with Lexington Management. Woodland Estates appears to be a nice place to live however, it is anything but. They have misplaced our payments and have not addressed any of our complaints/concerns. They have also claimed that they found a cat in our apartment during a routine inspection and are trying to make up pay fines up to $300. We have no cats, and we have never had any cats!!!! My girlfriend is allergic to them! Just a very frustrating living experience so far and we have only been here since January. We have plans to move out ASAP due to the constant problems and troubles we have dealt with. There has also been multiple power outages, and inconvienences with work crews taking over the parking lots with there vehicles. DO NOT rent with Lexington, you will see how poor and unorganized their Management is. more

The most pathetic excuse of a management company and by far the WORST company to rent from. The apartments look really nice at first glance but give it a week and all the little band-aids they put over big problems in the apartments will start to wear off. Within a few days, the cracks they quickly puddied over started to show, the flooring in the kitchen started to peel up, and the carpet, which was supposedly ""brand new"" quickly looked like it was ready to be replaced. This company and their employees are all a joke. Upon meeting our landlord, she seemed very nice, but that was clearly just an act. She ignored our phone calls about the faulty extras keys that she charged us $25 a piece for, a flooded bathroom, the peeling linoleum, poorly patched up cracks in the walls, the neighbor kids dinging our car door.. the list goes on and on. The whole company, up to the tip top, is nothing but lazy, money hungry idiots who push problems onto other people employed by Lexington. Not a single problem we have encountered while living at winding ridge has been solved, to date. I could go on for an hour about the mistreatment and neglect that goes on at Lexington Homes, but I will leave it at this.. If you see a lexington homes property for rent, WALK AWAY! more

DO NOT RENT FROM LEXINGTON! 1/14/2012

DO NOT RENT OR BUY FROM LEXINGTON HOMES!! I am currently in the process of suing Lexington Homes for work I performed but was never paid for. I was contracted to clean the apartments/stairwells of their apartment complexes but when I asked for my money, they stated that we had no agreement and they were not going to pay. I have therefor obtained legal council and am currently suing them in small claims court. The apartments are not taken care of, they do horrible work/construction and they often lie to perspective customers in order to sell the unit. The accounting department can clearly not add and their customer service is deplorable. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT, DO NOT use Lexlngton Homes. more

""Slumlords"" would be too kind... 6/17/2011

Lexington Homes is a joke! They are a horrible company who has absolutely no sympathy/lienancy with anything-they are absolutely only interested in making the sales & getting the places rented out! Once they have you trapped they figure out every schemeing way possible to cheat you out of everything and weasel their way along the cracks. I would never wish anyone the living space that this company provides. Horrible, horrible management ... They have absolutely no idea what is going on at any of their properties and if something doesn't go their way-they blame it on ""past employees"" and adv that they themselves didn't agree to anything - please take responsibility for your company!!! The customer/client is always right (with exception). Even if YOU yourself didn't agree to it you are representing a company, not yourself. They are completely just in their own world. They never fix anything, washers go months w/o being fixed, parking lots go all day w/o being plowed-even in the front of the garage doors, they are absolutely no assistance w anything because everyone you talk to gives you a different story or someone else to talk to (again always someone else's fault). PLEASE if you know what's good for you - do NOT rent/buy anything from Lexington Homes/Management. I actually feel bad for the owners if they don't know that their business is being run like this. No one deserves to be treated like a number-especially when you're living on their property! They don't even deserve a half of one star... more

They'd be better slum lords. 5/15/2011

If you are considering renting, don't. I definitely wouldn't again. While the place may look nice on original walk through, within hours of moving in, you'll start to find all the corners they cut. When we moved in, our cieling fan, central air (in the dead of summer) and half the outlets in the living room didn't work. Took them weeks to fix. The dishwasher (per code they say) is wired to a wall switch! That's right, clean dishes at the flip of a switch. EVERYthing is of the cheapest and lowest quality possible, from the carpet to the drywalling job to the trim and appliances. I have a huge hole in the soffet from a past storm that blew away that after 2 unreturned phone calls and a letter sent with rent, is still gaping. Our water heater failed once, and they did fix that pretty quickly. Sadly, for the most part, they are unresponsive. Rest assured they will be real quick to send you a hand written scribbled bitch notice if their patrolling lackies are of the opinion that your grass is too long or they don't like the furniture on your porch! Really anything that they think might detract from the outward aesthetics, however rediculous, will get pounced on in a heartbeat. I haven't lived in too many rentals, but Lexington ""Management"" is anything but. Clearly the worst company I've pesonally ever rented from. The only reason I haven't moved out is because I hate moving, have a lot of stuff, and not a lot of time. I've rented from them unfortunately for quite a bit longer than Id've preferred and never once EVER, have they shown any hint of appreciation. Just bitch notices. Don't sign, run away! more

Buyers Beware 5/3/2009

I bought a new property in a Lexington Subdivision. They are only interested in making the sale. They do not enforce subdivision restrictive covenants and treat you after the sale like a non person. These are the type of people you would like to reach thru the phone and grab by the neck. If you are looking at a Lexington home, look closely and compare with other builders. You will see where the corners are cut. Cons: Where do you start. more

Run, your about to get robbed. 10/27/2008

Stop this horrible company.............\r \r Being a condo owner from Lexington Homes is one of the worst experiences of my life. I've never seen a company treat their owners so poorly. If you see this, please save yourself from these horrible people. Don't take my word for it, goto any property and talke to the owners of Lexington's homes or condos and you will see the truth. more

Patriot Estates is worth every penny!!! 6/19/2008

I've done a LOT of apartment hunting, because I'm very picky!, and Patriot Estates was the best for the price range!!! Everyone is really nice here, the management (Judy) did everything she could for me, and when my refrigerator's compressor died, I had a new one the next day!!! It's really a cozy spot, considering it is really close 5-10 min's max, to EVERYTHING in the Fox Valley, the Mall, tons of good restaurants, art centers, the Fox Valley Performing Arts Center, and we're literally one block from the UW-Fox Valley campus!!! If you do a lot of biking, there are so many trails and the BEST PART is that if you like to party, downtown Appleton is so close!!! \r I love that I have my own washer/dryer, patio doors, a garage, and CHEAP RENT for such a nice, clean place!!! I wouldn't rent anywhere else. I have a friend in Grand Chute whose building must have been built in the 70's, it smells so bad, and she has a tiny bedroom, a tiny bathroom, ugly carpeting, no washer/dryer, NO GARAGE!!! and she pays more rent than I do!!! he he eh!!! Pros: Most people have a garage! Excellent Management and Cheap RENT! CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN!!! Cons: Some don't have a garage:( and they fine smokers for throwing their butts outside:( more
