I cannot stress this point enough. If you choose to read further, my issues and complaints with Lenora are described below:
So Lenora was scheduled to help me for a small studio apartment move last week. Pretty routine if you ask me and perhaps even more so since they were scheduled to move from a storage facility where everything was already neatly placed in boxes or taken apart.
However, to begin, Lenora was TWO HOURS LATE. There was not even a courtesy call from the movers until they were one hour late already. On the phone, they said they were 30 minutes away at most. After 30 minutes, I tried calling multiple times to no avail.
When they eventually arrived two hours after our appointment, they were unapologetic and cited that an earlier move had caused them to be late. Standard procedure according to Lenora...
Unfortunately, my experience with Lenora did not improve during the actual moving. What should have been a quick and swift job took exceedingly long, because the movers moved one box at a time since they failed to bring any moving equipment whatsoever, including a dolly. What moving company doesn't provide for moving equipment??? To make matters even worse, they did not move with care and dropped everything on the floor of the apartment.
AND FINALLY to top it all off, they refused to take credit card explaining that it was CASH ONLY, despite Lenora advertising credit card payment online and on their contract.
WHAT a debacle. What a JOKE of a moving company. Do yourself a favor and save your time, money and agony from a brutal experience with Lenora.
