Good Experience, Honest Dealership 3/29/2011

I went to Leith Honda to continue researching a new car as mine was dying. I had no intention of getting a new one immediately and was uncertain about which model. I did a couple of test drives and decided a Honda Civic was what I want. I worked with Jeff Maynard who was very helpful and honest with me. I never felt pressured to make a decision one way or another unlike at other dealerships I had visited. It was a good experience all around! more

Pleasant Car Buying Experience at Leith Honda 3/28/2011

My lease was up in a short time so I decided to start looking to replace my Honda. Frank Malfara was recommended to me by a colleague-she said he would treat me fairly and be very honest. She was right! I was very pleased with the service Frank gave me. I called Frank and he immediately answered my questions and by the next day when I came in, I had a new car. I usually dread buying a car, but this was a great experience. Everyone I met at Leith was very pleasant. I would go back to Frank again to purchase a car. more

Best Experience at Leith Honda 3/27/2011

My lease was up in a month so I decided to go into Leith Honda to see what kind of deal I could get on a new Honda or buy the one I had been leasing. Someone came over to us immediately, his name was Frank Malfara. We had a great experience and I was very pleased with the service Frank gave his. Such a great person and I would recommend him to anyone wanting to buy a Honda. I will definitely go back to him when the time comes for me to purchase another vehicle. He was very upfront with me and did everything he could to meet my needs. Needless to say I came home with a new Honda and am very pleased with the price! Thanks Frank! more

All of the folks we met at Leith were kind and helpful. Our saleman, Frank Malfara, was extremely helpful from the minute we met him. He truly listened to what I wanted in a car and never tried to talk me into something more or different. I have rarely encountered a salesman who has listened so carefully and attentively! While I agonized over this purchase & decision, Frank was patient & encouraging without being ""pushy"". He made himself available, always answering our cell phone calls, and was quick to answer our questions or address our concerns. He found exactly the car that I wanted and he was very straighforward in working with us on price and our trade-in. I ended up with the car I wanted, at a great price, and an assurance that I can call Frank when or if I have any further questions. more

The Epitome of Professionalism 3/22/2011

This dealership is awesome on so many levels. Russ Clark responded so quickly to my online application. Then Marvin Camper, my sales representative was so kind and efficient. He kept in touch with me constantly and stayed on top of working hard to help me get a vehicle. I rode from Greenville to the dealership in Raleigh when I got off work and everyone was so nice when I arrived from opening doors to offering refreshments. Jacky the finance manager worked miracles getting me financed and that man is talented. The same finance company denied me in Greenville so he definitely knows how to put a deal together for his customers.I was the last customer to leave the dealership that evening and I left it in a brand spanking new 2011 Honda civic. I can't begin to tell you how ecstatic I am to be driving my beautiful new car and I am equally satisfied with the journey getting here to this point. Honest, Reliable 3/22/2011

My service advisor helped me get to the bottom of my car's issues quickly, offered me transportation home if needed (even w/ a baby/carseat), and she gave me a call that all was done quicker than expected. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and their prices actually beat the local service station near my neighborhood! Will not be going anywhere else for my Honda's services from now on out - highly recommended & very trustworthy! more

Great experience after small glitch 3/21/2011

I worked with Eric Stewart and Bobby Mearkle. I met Mr. Mearkle at my employment and once I learned he was a car dealer , asked him to call me. Mr. Mearkle called me the NEXt day. So I did application online , and later the same day, Mr. Mearkle called me to come pick out my car. When i went to the car dealership I worked with Eric Stewart who was awesome, I truely enjoyed working with Mr. Stewart , he fought for me when there was a paperwork glitch, and I drove off the lot a very a happy person. more

Good used car buying experience 3/20/2011

Went to Leith Honda today to buy a used Honda for my grandaughter. Bobby Mearkle was our sales person. Could not have been nicer or more patient with us although the show room was full of customers. Explained qualities of the car,took us for a test drive, and helped us stay within our budget. Will definitely return to Leith Honda and hope we get Bobby for our sales person next time. Leith Honda is great 3/12/2011

I went into the dealership wanting to get an appraisal on my tradein and to testdrive the Fit Sport. Jeremy, the internet sales guy, had already given me a quote in email. I wasn't planning on buying a new car today, I was mostly continuing my research, but I knew Leith has a really good reputation. I met Gus Camejo and he was very friendly and nice, and not pushy at all. After my test drive, we went inside to run the numbers. He worked with me on getting more for my tradein than they first quoted me. He was very open and nice to work with. Since I hadn't been planning on buying my new car today, I hadn't brought the title or my checkbook, and Business Manager Danny Feeney was perfectly fine with me bringing them in on Tuesday after work, which was nice too. He was also not pushy, he just gave me all the information I needed and didn't try to sell me anything finance-wise that I didn't want. Overall, my experience with Leith Honda today was a very good one, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone who wants to buy a Honda. Thanks especially to Gus! more

Service Department poor service and follow up 3/11/2011

Went to Leith Honda in Feb '11 for oil change ('09 Honda Accord with 25,000 miles) in preparation for a road trip. Was advised by Ed Vaughn , my service advisor, I needed a new battery (under warranty) and that I would need new brakes on my next service visit (which would be in 5,000 miles). I received my new battery at no charge. Two weeks later (about 500 miles later) I went out of town got off the interstate and heard my brakes making an awful scrubbing noise. I was stuck on the side of the road in a city where I knew no one. I had to get my car towed to a dealership in Charlotte at night. Got new brakes and rotor work done. Next day heard clicking noise from the new brakes, spent 2-3 more hours at a Charlotte dealership to correct thet rotor work from the night before. Got back to Raleigh, call Leith Honda service Manager Chuck to let him no that my service advisor Ed Vaughn, let me leave Leith's ""Certified"" Honda dealership 2 weeks early without advising me I needed brakes done now. Got a callback from Chuck and he basically told me of Ed's glowing past performances at the dealership. He even mentioned that Ed actually does another job at dealership, but he was helping out in the sevice department that night. I think he actually works with financing at the dealership (see other customer's review dated 2-28-11). Was a finance person acting as my service advisor that night? How about not just letting anyone at the dealership act as service advisor if that is not their area of expertise. I received no apology, no I am sorry from Chuck. I could not get Chuck to say that Ed actually said he recommended I get a brake job and I refused the service. Why, because he never recommended I get brakes that night. Ed is an much older gentlemen and maybe he needs to retire(or not fill in as a service advisor) if he does not know when a customer needs BRAKES !!!!! I will never use Leith Honda. Also I found out that Honda Accord 09 has a known problem with their back brakes wearing out too quickly. Yet, they did not do a recall because of class action lawsuit. Thanks, Honda Corp and Leith Honda for letting the consumers know about the brake problem. Thank God, I am safe. \r However, very disappointed with Leith Honda service department and service manager Chuck's response (dismissal of me). I wonder if Chuck and Ed would have had the same attitude if their wife or daughter was stuck on the side of the road in strange city because the dealership decided to use a fill in service advisor. By the way, my1997 Camry averaged about 70,000 miles per brake job. I will buy a Camry (not Leith Toyota) over an Accord anytime. more

Great Experience All Around!! 3/5/2011

This was our second Honda purchase within a year from Leith Honda. Both of our experiences were fantastic. Our first purchase with Doug and Jackie went quickly and smoothly. Our second purchase six months later with Brandon Wilson and Danny Feeney was even quicker! Both times we were provided great, thorough service with no complaints! We will be back! We had an excellent experience at Leith Honda when we bought our new Honda Fit this week. Kutay Ozgenc greeted me immediately and provided the information that I needed. He was knowledgeable and courteous. We were provided with a good price on the Fit that we wanted. Kutay searched and found the exact car that we wanted. It arrived promptly and Kutay kept us informed at each step. The financial proceedings were handled efficiently by Ed Vaughn with good recommendations for loan and service agreements. We are satisfied with the service afforded us would recommend Leith Honda to our friends. We went to Leith Honda in Raleigh and our experience was excellent. I am first time car buyer and I chose Honda Accord because of its reputation. I reviewed car on line and requested quotes from two dealers. Jeremy Hyatt at Leith responded within one day and the other dealer two days. We were able to purchase car from Leith that same evening. Nahru Willaims our salesperson was well informed about the vehicle; he explained all many options and patiently answered our questions. We never felt pressured to buy this car or different car on the lot. We had the car simonized and went back next evening to pick it up and Nahru again went over some of car's features and our rights as an owner. Our overall experience with Leith was excellent. Leith quoted us a fair price and we were fortunate to have Nahru as salesperson. We wholeheartedly recommend Leith Honda and Nahru and Jerermy. Thank you.\r \r more

When I first went to Leith Honda, i was so confused for I didn't know whether to buy a new car, a used car, which brand, which model... Kutay Ozgenc was the sales person who helped me through the process and I can't explain how really helpful he was, he really understood what I needed and helped me be satisfied with every part of my purchase. Mickel Riddick is the BEST! 2/22/2011

I went to Leith Honda expecting to find a vehicle that suited me and I did! Actually, Mickel helped me and it wasn't easy. I had a very specific list of ""criteria"" that I wanted in my vehicle. He only showed me the ones that would work for me. I had it narrowed down to two vehicles. He wasn't pushy, nor did he inflict his own personal opinion. I walked out of there with a very nice Nissan Altima with payments right where I wanted them.\r If you are considering which Honda dealer to go to, or even a pre-owned lot, do yourself a favor and go to Leith Honda. It was a very pleasant experience.\r My kids didn't come with me, but if they had of, I know that they would have enjoyed the child's play area. There were children in there playing and having a great time. Excellent idea for parents that hate to take their kids car shopping :) more

Excellent find 2/19/2011

I found a 2010 Odyssey wiuth all the tings I wanted with only 10K miles on it. I worked with TY and he was very up front about everything. He provided views on possible payment options and trade in values. I was'nt planning on buying today, but when we found this vehicle, it happened. They had a great selection and Ty was very courteous. more
