I highly recommend LAW as a place to obtain needed legal expertise and assistance at a reasonable, affordable price. They listened to our legal needs (an adoption) and explained the whole process to us, prepared us for court and filed all the necessary pleadings on our behalf. When we were tight on funds they gave us extra time to pay and kept our case open rather than closing it and making us pay extra fees to re-open the case. The staff contacted us prior to the Court date to remind us, sent us all the paperwork and followed up to find out how the court date went. I felt like they had our back, prepared us, and made the court date a simple formality by doing all the leg work. All without excessive legal fees. The staff there really seems to care and be interested in the case and I highly recommend them to people who need legal assistance, yet cannot afford a traditional legal representation, or like in our case, didn't really need to have a full time lawyer on the case. I will certainly use them in the future and am grateful for the help. more

I paid for and tried an online "do-it-yourself" divorce site before I realized I was in way over my head. Legal Action Workshop is not a full service law firm, but they provide an array of professional legal services. They will not charge you as much as a regular law firm would, too, yet the service is great! On the $@!#% side, Legal Action Workshop provides similar prices to the internet legal services out there, but there is no comparison between the two. Legal Action Workshop is the BEST choice out of all of them. Stephen gave me excellent legal advice, and the secretary was very supportive of me, as well. She returned my emails promptly and set up appointments for me. I mostly dealt with them via email, over the phone, and in person. I found about glendale law on youtube of all places. At first i was very sceptical because they are located in southern california and i live in the bay area. The reason i went online us because all the lawyers in my area were charging too much (at least $5000) for a simple divorce. Some of them did not even want to listen to my story. Some enen recommended i do the paperwork myself after I paid the consoltation fee. Please do not attempt to do it yourself. When i called, the attorney i talked to was very patient and took time to listen to all my issues. He gave me all the options available. When he quoted me the price, i could not believe it. In my situation, it was less than $500 waoh! The whole process was so smooth. All i did was just sign the paper work. Samantha the office clerk was the best. She put all the paperwork together with detailed explaination. She always followed up with everything. Everytime i called, she emailed answered right away or emailed me right back. The whole thing was done over the phone and online. How easy is that. I started in march and my divorce just got finalized on september 23rd. I wasn’t sure if Legal Action Workshop was going to be a right fit for me but after speaking with Samantha in the Glendale office I was surely mistaken. My friend referred me to L.A.W. and told me to ask for Samantha. She said Samantha was the one who helped her get divorced and that she was amazing. I thought it was going to cost me thousands get divorced but as it turns out I didn’t have to spend a faction of that. After speaking with Samantha and getting the information I needed, I told her I’d call her back once I did a little research. I first found Legal Action Workshop when I needed to file a response to my spouse's petition for divorce. They knew exactly how to handle the paperwork and arranged for the documents to be served to the court and the petitioner. I've since hired them to do a Request For Order to modify the child visitation rules, which was again handled well and accompanied by good pragmatic legal advice. There's no question that full-time legal representation is the best way to go, but if it's not in the budget to hand someone a $5k retainer, Legal Action Workshop will at least make certain that you are filing the correct forms and in the proper way, which is essential if you're going to succeed in court. more
