I moved south about an hour and am so disappointed with the Chinese food down where I live, compared to what I grew up with going to Lee's, that I will drive an hour just to go back to Lee's. \r \r I love the fried shrimp, sesame chicken, szechuan beef, and pork fried rice. The house lo mein is another favorite of mine, while my sisters love the hot and sour soup, the sauteed green beans and the princess shrimp. \r \r I even have them on my speed dial on both my home and cell phones... more

We have been going to Lee's for years and it is always good food. They are very friendly, call you by name and the food arrives quickly.\r \r It's massive amounts of food so be extremely hunger or be ready to share. I strongly disagree with the previous comment if there is one thing you can count on at lees its consistency good service and good food if you ordered chow mein and it came on a bed of crispy dried noodles then you got chow mein. Sure its most definetley not the best I have ever had but it is good the bbq pork is great the shrimp are great most everything there is pretty good overall. Lees is a good place to remind you of what it used to be like when you went out to chinese food when you were a kid its not trendy or fancy its old school chinese food with great service. The previous two opposing reviews gave me a kick and illustrate the nature of Lee's. My mother loves this place and my sister and I roll our eyes and take her, it's Chinese food the way she thinks of it: egg foo yung with gravy (my favorite), deep fried versions of almost everything (shrimp!), nearly carmelized sweet and sour sauces and a fortune cookie at the end. And don't forget the tucked nygahyde booths and the colors gold, black and red. It's probably the supportive bunch of barflys in the back that keep the place humming day and night, just like in the days before coffee shops provided gathering spots for our generation. Lee's delivers on the Chinese the old way. Not high quality, but will satisfy that nostalgic itch if you have it! We have been dining at Lee's Kitchen for more years than I want to admit. We can always depend on the quality of the food regardless of what we order. Their Mandarin Duck is outstanding as is the Pepper Shrimp. The Ma Pao Bean Cake is both spicy and soothing at the same time. We usually combine one of these entrees with a #4 which is enough for my husband and me with lots of leftovers. Try it for lunch, too. The service is friendly and very quick when you're on a short leash for lunch. Can't complain about a thing at Lee's Kitchen. more

We went with the shrimp eggrolls, bowl of egg flower soup and a number 8 combination that included fried rice, chow mein and sweet and sour sesame chicken. The soup had canned mushrooms and canned chicken in it and was bland. The eggrolls were swimming in an oil bath. The combo arrived and the chow mein was a bed of dried out crispy noodles covered in a gross combination of bean curds, some unidentified mystery meat and a clear sauce. My huband and I thought it was reminescent of the canned chow mein our moms bought us as kids. The chicken was dried out and tasted like frozen breaded chicken from a bad TV dinner. Surely you can't mess up fried rice we thought.... They did. We left as fast as possible and headed to Costco for a hot dog to redeem the night thinking ""wow that was bad!""
