Leader TV

Very pleased, again, with the expert repair service from Leader TV! I recently brought in a piece of vintage audio electronics to Leader TV for repair that had developed a mysterious problem. The professionals at Leader TV were honest in saying that it would take some care and time to properly diagnose and repair the issues I was having, and indeed it turned out to be a complex set of problems. But the technicians at Leader TV gave me regular status reports of where they were in the diagnosis and repair process, and fully repaired my equipment to a ""good-as-new"" performance state after fixing a variety of issues. I am very pleased with the professional interactions and the repair service I received, and this mirrors the experience I had a number of years ago when I brought in a television for repair-- at that time, Leader TV provided a cost-effective and professional repair to my prized large-screen TV. In one word? Wonderful. My friend has a bad back and has a recliner with a remote control. The remote stopped working, without it the chair won't recline. As the chair is under warranty, we called the manufacturer and were told it would be a 12 week wait to get a new controller. As that was unacceptable, we took it to Leader TV to see if they could fix it. Not only did they fix it, they fixed it that day because of my friend's back problem. more

I was looking for a video camera repair shop in Rochester and Leader was recommended by another camera shop as the only one on the west side of Rochester that could help me out. I went to them and they repaired my camera quickly and spent a lot of time helping me find a place to get new batteries for the camera ( it was an old camera that had not been used in years). To make a long story short they made it possible for me to take moving pictures on a three week trip that I started the day I picked up the camera. While I was there I saw that they sold LED TV's; Having shopped around for one previously, I knew the price of their TV was among the lowest I had seen in the so-called discount shops. When I got back from my trip I bought the TV at Leader TV. Kevin got the TV ready for me and set it up dso that all I had to do when I got home was to connect the cables just as he showed me. \r My experience with leader TV was the best I have had with any retail organization dealing with camera's or Video equipment. They know what they are doing. I would seriously question the validity of any negative comments about the knowledge or integrity of Kevin at Leader TV (or any other person workng there). more

Kevin (the owner) is about as intelligent as a pet rock. Bringing an expensive TV to him to be repaired would not be a good idea in my opinion. I have two friends that EACH had a bad experience. One friend brought in the TV, he diagnosed the problem incorrectly and charged him $225 dollars. When he got the set home, it still was not working correctly. He called Kevin (the owner) and stated that he was bringing it back. Leader TV told him that there would be additional charges. \r \r How can there be additional charges for something that was not fixed correctly the first time around. \r \r There are many businesses in Rochester that repair TV's. I recommend anyone BUT Leader TV. more

I called Leader TV and explained the problem with my TV. They said they knew what the problem was and gave me a price to fix it. They said I should contact more

I can not say enough about the servvice I received at Leader TV. My husband and I have been going there for service for many years, always with nothing with the best results! Our repairs are always completed to our satisfaction, and the service exceeds our expectations each and every time. We have always felt like they valued our business, and been fair in their pricing and honest in their advice. I was shocked and pleased when they told me one of my TVs was not recommended to be repaired. They didn't get a penny for that, and I would have gladly given them the $300.00 it would have taken to repair!!! more

I took a high end vcr to be repaired thay just made it worst and refused to give me a refund for there botch stay away if you have any high end stuff you don't want trashed. if you go to leader tv make them show your stuff working before you pay for any repair as for thay will never give you a refund. Cons: don't get me started more
