Service was Excellent! 5/4/2012

This place rocks! it's a bit pricey but worth every penny. Enjoy! more

It is very good. 12/20/2010

I love the rib eye steak and the sesame seared tuna. Both are served in large portions and so good. Try the rosemary squash side dish. It is very good. It is expensive but worth it. Avoid the Stock Show nights. more

This feels like Fort Worth!! 3/12/2009

Outstanding meal! The shrimp were succulent and all of our steaks were cooked perfectly. And seasoned perfectly, which is not done right very often. The wine stewards are a blast, one of them walked me into a Washington cab for $90 and it was terrific. The building is beautiful, the service is fluid and friendly. It's easy to see on my end why I'll be back. Pros: An experience rather than a meal more

Very Good Experience 10/27/2008

My friends and I visited Del Frisco's for a girl's evening out. Our experience was absolutely wonderful. Looking forward to visiting this location again. Pros: Various Cons: None. more

Great steak, great atmosphere, great service! 10/9/2008

I don't understand the previous negative reviews. Unfortunately some people don't get out much. I travel two weeks a month and dine out from coast to coast. I have eaten at Del Frisco's in New York and Las Vegas and have always had an excellent time. Last week was my first trip to Fort Worth and Del Frisco's was recommended by the concierge as the best restaurant in town. I was dining alone and upon entering the restaurant was greeted with a smiling face. Must have been a busy night, so I found a seat at the bar for a cocktail as the hostess worked on finding me a table. One cocktail later I was being seated. \r \r Food was excellent. I had a sweet/spicy calamari appetizer. Too much for one person to eat but I'll make a trip back to Fort Worth for that alone. A New York strip cooked perfectly. Delicious Au Gratin potatoes and creamed spinach. Washed it all down with a half bottle of Cabernet. (Half bottles are a great idea for the single diner and they must have close to 100 selections!) All in all what I expect from Del Frisco's, but most importantly, when I returned home I received a thank you card from my waiter Kevin. Class act. Pros: great food, gracious service more

Very Disappointed 9/25/2008

My husband took me to Del Friscos for our anniversary-- we had heard great things about it, and were excited to try it. We ordered our steak medium-well-- I told the waiter I just wanted a little pink in the center. The steak came out bright pink all over-- we ended up sending it back 4 times, and at that point, the outside was so charred it didn't taste good. We were so disappointed. I could have gotten a steak at Saltgrass for 1/4 of the price and been pleased. We won't go there again. more

Horrible Experience 9/5/2008

We had a terrible experience and will never go back. The food wasn't good (the cocktail sauce looked like red glue and tasted gummy, my steak was overcooked even though I stressed how very rare I wanted it cooked, I asked if the onions could be removed from the potatoes au gratin and our waitress told me no, the potatoes au gratin were frozen and came in large bags so nothing could be done to change them!!), the service was poor (we were rushed the entire meal - my husband and I had the feeling that someone else was waiting for our table because our waitress kept trying to take our plates even though we weren't finished eating), and prices were high. We were told there was a dress code, but people were seated wearing blue jeans and white tee shirts. The entire evening could not have been much worse and we will never go back. Pros: Nothing Cons: Average Food, Poor and Rushed Service, Hypocritical Dress Code more

Thought I was at Applebees 9/2/2008

Well, last Saturday night we had reservations at 8:30 but weren't seated until 8:50. Ok except I found out later they don't insist on reservations, so it appeared they didn't seat us on time because they're seating others without reservations. \r \r I should have been tipped off to problems when I called for reservations and was put on hold halfway through making the reservation, and then someone else different came back on the line and we had to start again.\r \r Another thing I didn't like. Their website says business casual, jacket not required. They seated a lot of people in tee shirts, jeans and tennis shoes. Why even bother with a dress code?\r \r We never had a consistent wait staff we could rely on; the service was unreliable. Not horrible, mind you. But not what I expect from a high end steakhouse.\r \r The drinks were ok as were the entrees and appetizer. But the dessert bread pudding was very dry. The manager kindly took it off without us asking so I give them credit for that, but it was just another in a long list of things.\r \r We seldom go to restaurants unless we expect a very good experience and we had never been to a Del Frisco's but heard good things. We've been to numerous Morton's, Fleming's, a Capital Grille. Been to lots of high end steakhouses in Las Vegas and throughout Texas. We're seldom disappointed. But this left us feeling like we'd been to a very expensive Applebees. \r \r For their sake, I hope it was just a bad night for them. But we will not go back. Cons: Food is only ave. Service below ave. had to wait more

One of the Dallas Greats! 8/29/2008

This is one of the Dallas Greats when it comes to a good meal. Anytime is a good time to go to Del Frisco's. Food is Five Star, Wine & Bar is Five Star, the only negitive for me is if you get sat near the front door or bar. A little too loud and cramped. \r \r I will continue to go back with my wife as long as we are in Dallas!\r \r Mike Pros: Food, Wine, and Service Cons: seating is a bit cramped more

The best 1/11/2008

Del Frisco's is the best at what they do. Food is always excellent. Service is always fantastic. There's no con I can think of when asked about Del Frisco's. If you are looking for fine dining in the area, there is only one choice. Nowhere else can recreate what goes on here. Pros: Service, food, drinks (you name it!) Cons: None come to mind more

Best steak I've ever had in my life 7/29/2007

I was visiting with some coworkers from Seattle. All of us agreed that this place serves the BEST steak ever. I've eaten at Ruth Chris and at Daniel's Broiler's and this was a step above the rest. Yes, it is very pricey but if you're looking for an amazing steak, go here! Pros: AMAZING steak Cons: A little pricey more

Best Steak in DFW...hands down 7/20/2007

The Del Frisco''s in Fort Worth is the best steak I have ever had. That says a lot since I travel quite a bit and really enjoy eating steaks at new places. I've been to every top steakhouse in DFW and this is by far the best. Everything from the location, service, sides, bread, and even the butter they use is great. Pros: Great all-around more

Wonderful steak! 1/9/2007

I was very impressed with this Steakhouse. It was a nice atmosphere, excellent filet, and delicious sides. If you have the money to spend and want a good steak, this is the place to go. I love steak and have been to many places in Dallas but this was the best so far!! Pros: Steak was cooked to perfection Cons: Valet took a long time to bring the car back more

Absolutely Fantastic Food and Service - almost always 12/5/2006

My husband and I love Del Frisco's in Fort Worth - the steaks are the best in the Metroplex and the service is almost always impeccable. We have always been happy there until our last visit: the waiter was haughty and waited on us as if we were hayseeds that didn't tip well (we do tip very well). The waiter then made a mistake with our wine and we ended up paying over double the price of the wine we actually ordered (we are not particularly educated in wines, so we trust the waiter and sommelier when we dine out). The food is not only spectacular here, but it is also abundant - we had numerous leftovers - of which the waiter failed to pack less than half of because he left our shrimp and dessert in refridgeration. My husband and I left feeling shunned and ill-cared for....we felt even worse when we later found out we had been doubled charged on our credit card. So, out of many visits, we have only experienced one unfortunate evening; but a snotty waiter that does not pay attention can sure ruin a wonderful night out. Still, I would highly reccomend this restaurant to any friend. We have reservations Christmas Eve - hopefully our last waiter is no longer employed there :0) Pros: FOOD, ambience, service, easy valet parking Cons: one snotty waiter employed there - try to miss him more

THE best in Dallas 11/20/2006

The best steakhouse in Dallas, by far. I am always more than satisfied when I eat here. The service is AMAZING and the food is DELICIOUS. The portions are big so I like to share with my fiancee. Del Frisco's has set the bar so high that I cannot eat steak anywhere else. Pros: everything from service to food Cons: NONE! more

Best Steak in Town 10/26/2006

Wonderful menu with impeccable service. You can't go wrong with any menu item. Wonderful location in downtown. more

Great Food and Service 1/13/2003

They have some of the best quality steaks that I have had and without a doubt, the best service of anywhere I have ever eaten - but it comes at a price. You get what you pay for and as long as you are willing to open up your wallet, you won't regret the food and service. Pros: great quality, great selection, super side dishes Cons: cost, noisy, busy more
