Well, last Saturday night we had reservations at 8:30 but weren't seated until 8:50. Ok except I found out later they don't insist on reservations, so it appeared they didn't seat us on time because they're seating others without reservations. \r
\r
I should have been tipped off to problems when I called for reservations and was put on hold halfway through making the reservation, and then someone else different came back on the line and we had to start again.\r
\r
Another thing I didn't like. Their website says business casual, jacket not required. They seated a lot of people in tee shirts, jeans and tennis shoes. Why even bother with a dress code?\r
\r
We never had a consistent wait staff we could rely on; the service was unreliable. Not horrible, mind you. But not what I expect from a high end steakhouse.\r
\r
The drinks were ok as were the entrees and appetizer. But the dessert bread pudding was very dry. The manager kindly took it off without us asking so I give them credit for that, but it was just another in a long list of things.\r
\r
We seldom go to restaurants unless we expect a very good experience and we had never been to a Del Frisco's but heard good things. We've been to numerous Morton's, Fleming's, a Capital Grille. Been to lots of high end steakhouses in Las Vegas and throughout Texas. We're seldom disappointed. But this left us feeling like we'd been to a very expensive Applebees. \r
\r
For their sake, I hope it was just a bad night for them. But we will not go back.
Cons: Food is only ave. Service below ave. had to wait
