Review content:
I don't understand the previous negative reviews. Unfortunately some people don't get out much. I travel two weeks a month and dine out from coast to coast. I have eaten at Del Frisco's in New York and Las Vegas and have always had an excellent time. Last week was my first trip to Fort Worth and Del Frisco's was recommended by the concierge as the best restaurant in town. I was dining alone and upon entering the restaurant was greeted with a smiling face. Must have been a busy night, so I found a seat at the bar for a cocktail as the hostess worked on finding me a table. One cocktail later I was being seated. \r

Food was excellent. I had a sweet/spicy calamari appetizer. Too much for one person to eat but I'll make a trip back to Fort Worth for that alone. A New York strip cooked perfectly. Delicious Au Gratin potatoes and creamed spinach. Washed it all down with a half bottle of Cabernet. (Half bottles are a great idea for the single diner and they must have close to 100 selections!) All in all what I expect from Del Frisco's, but most importantly, when I returned home I received a thank you card from my waiter Kevin. Class act.
Pros: great food, gracious service
