I have been going to Nancy Robinson to have my hair cut and colored for over 20 years!\r What I like about her is her up-beat attitude, she is always happy to see me, and I look forward to getting my hair done!\r As my hair has changed over the past 20 years Nancy has kept my Color formula changing to meet my needs.\r My hair is shiny and in great shape, I look at my friends hair who have been coloring their hair as long as I have, and what a difference in condition.\r I love the way she highlights my hair around my face, and enhances my natural color (and covers my grey)\r I always leave happy, she loves what she does and it shows, she is a true artist! i was referred to Le Jardin At The Spa through a friend who was helping me plan my wedding, i was so satisfied with everything from the moment i called i felt that it was going to be great. i was referred to Julie who is beyond awesome with wedding hair/special occasion styles. my first appointment was a consultation and trial where we practiced and discussed different styles and ideas, it was great to see that she was so detailed and made sure to really incorporate everything i wanted. she was so helpful! \r on the actual day of my wedding, Julie traveled to my hotel for my bridesmaids and i which made everything really stress free for me! it was so nice to have her there to help with all of the finishing touches, i would definitely recommend all the girls at Le Jardin, they are all a very talented, great bunch of people who helped me celebrate a very special time in my life! Le Jardin is great. The atmosphere is great, the staff is great and the prices reasonable for the quality service you get. Tara is the best. She has been doing my hair for 7 years now. I get compliments on my hair (even after 5 weeks )every day. I feel like a million bucks when I leave. I never go home and redo my hair and if you have ever had a bad cut and style, you know what I mean. I leave looking like a million every time. I love the atmosphere and the parking is always accessable and on site. No meters to feed. They have product there you can purchase and you can do nails, massage and hair all in one place. My new favorite place, I had been going to the same gal for 20 years, but she retired! And you know how hard it is to find a new hair dresser. Someone had given me a cert. for a massage, which was the bomb! (With Peter, who had hands of gold.) Anyway all the girls were super friendly and the gal at the front desk recommended a girl for me. My first appointment was for color and cut and lets just say I have been going back every since (over a year now). Prices are about the same as my old place and very depending on your hair length.\r They also have on site parking, and always offer you something to drink, snack sometimes too.They have lots of other services too, if you want to make a day of it. I have been going to Le jardin at the Spa, for over a year now.\r What I love about the Spa is that everyone there is always happy. I had an appointment today for a color and cut, and at least three of the employees ask me if I needed water or a chi tea. I leave in a good mood because they are so up-beat.\r I also like the fact that the Salon is always CLEAN. If you have not been to Le Jardin at the Spa, you are missing out, for the service and quality of work they are a bargin!\r I usully see julie to color my hair, but watching all the girls work they all seem great.\r I love Le Jardin at the Spa, and you will too. This Salon is a wanna be 5 star establishmant with nothing but a garden to back it up. The owner is lazy and the manager stuck-up. I know for %100 fact that the ""great reviews"" are written by the manger as I have seen this on more than one occasion first hand. I have worked in other upscale salons and know how things should be ran. Their standards of not only service but employees are poor. They hire students straight out of beauty school yet still charge $60 for a simple haircut. \r If you call the salon itself to make a hair appointment or recieve a massage you will recieve service from one of these people, to recieve proper service you must call the stylists on their private lines. The only person I would recommend working there at the moment is Stephanie, she is worth the wait and the money (and no I do not know her on a personal level). \r You also know when an actual client did not write the review when they use the words ""knowledgable staff"" and write ""parking"" on the pro's list. Good luck to all who brave this plummeting facility.\r \r P.S. I have been working in the industry for 8 years now, just in case you were questioning my credentials for writing ths bad review. \r I also know for a fact that they pay this website to alert them to bad reviews and bribe the writers to delete them - beware! I've been here before for a brazilian wax and Priscilla is excellent and very personable. She made my first waxing experience a pleasant one. I would definitely go back to her. However, based on earlier glowing reviews I thought I would try their hot stone facials. I understand Priscilla does facials and I realized now that I should have requested her but I was assigned another specialist. Unfortunately, it turns out that I had never had such an unsatisfying, clumsy, non relaxing facial as this. In the end, it was such a complete waste of time. I could have done a better job standing in front of my bathroom sink and washing my own face. The hot stones were at best lukewarm and the feet/leg/hand/arm massage was very amateurish and I actually wondered where this person received their training to be licensed. Also as I would try my hardest to drift into a relaxed state that comes from just laying down, many times the bed I was laying on would be bumped unexpectedly many times jarring me. I really hate to complain but it was just a very disappointing experience. Maybe it was just an off day, they were pleasant and sweet enough but it was not a very professional experience as one would expect. This is just a note for those of you considering going here just beware and if you are not happy with the way things are going, just speak up early so they have time to change things up to your liking. Unfortunately, I had to learn the hard way. more

I love Le Jardin! They did my hair (and bridesmaids) for our wedding. AMAZING!!! I love Stephanie! Most of my family goes to her as well. I give them 5 stars - wonderful service, wonderful people! more

After reading glowing reviews of this spa I decided to buy a friend a gift certificate for her birthday. The spa encourages people to buy gift certificates directly from their website. I wanted a brochure to enclose with the certificate so I called them and left a message, including my phone number and address, asking them to please mail me a brochure. A week later I had not received anything. So this morning I decided to call them and left a message asking them to return my call as I had some questions to ask before purchasing a gift certificate. That was several hours ago. No response.\r \r I will find another spa. The last thing I want to do is spend several hundred dollars on a gift certificate to a spa my friend can't use, for how could she book an appointment with a place that does not answer their phone or return phone calls? The other reviews that were so positive? Either the place has changed management or the reviews were written by friends of the owner. more

I just had a Hot stone facial at Le Jardin at the Spa in Pleasant hill and this is THE BEST spa I have Ever been to...... I cant wait to go back . every time I have been there i have NEVER had a bad service. The cozy atmosphere is very inviting and everyone is so friendly. The parking is great, they have a huge parkinglot and always plenty of room. The quality of the services are the most affordable out of any spa I have been to in the area. Give them a try. I had been hearing so many great things about this Spa that I just had to try this place. My friends and I booked an ""After Hours"" Party. We felt like we were on vacation in Napa! We had the most amazing Spa services, Blueberry Facials, Body Scrubs, and the most relaxing massages. When we weren't pampering ourselves we were indulging in chocolate fondue....there was everything imaginable to dip in chocolate. We have decieded to make it a monthly ritual. A day of pampering turned out to be a complete nightmare! I booked an appointment to have a facial and hair coloring done on the same day and both services were awful. My facial took place inside of a room that was far from relaxing or serene. The walls were super thin so the entire time I heard peoples voices outside, car alarms and passing vehicles. My hopes for a new hair color went down the drain when my stylist started dripping bleach on me. The end result was TERRRIBLE! To say the least, I returned the next day to have an all over color put on the highlighted mess they created. The worse part is. this entire nightmare was a group effort, all stylists on site including the owner herself advised my hairdresser on her work.
