Le Jardin Day Spa And Salon

Hi Y'All, I was in town visiting my cousin Priscilla. She decided we would have a girl day and she signed us up at Le Jardin. So we could have a day at the spa. Just us girls. The girls at the front desk were kind. They were very nice. The place was decorated very nice and I was impressed with the decor. It was very clean and had soothing music playing while we got our manis' and peti's. We both had great massages and than had our hair styled. Mine looked real nice but my cousin Pris liked the way she looked better. We both looked so good we decided to go shopping before her husband got home for work or the kids started bugging her. We had a great day and were treated like princesses from the moment we walked in till we left. I do recommend that you all try out this spa but make sure you give yourself enough time to enjoy everything. We were so relaxed we didn't want to leave. I will surely be back on my next visit. more

I go to this spa monthly for wax service. I LOVE Lori S., she is gentle and very knowledgeable about skin care. She is the BEST aesthetician I have EVER experienced! I recommend her for your wax service. GiGi more

I booked a spa package for myself and my mother about six weeks in advance. The day before the appointment, the salon called to confirm and were off an hour for our appointments (and I had made sure to write it down on my calendar when booking so I knew I was right) which wasn't so bad but confirmed other reviews. The spa treatments were nice and I felt that the pricing was fair (tip was included with my package). However, the next day I got a call stating that they had made a mistake and that they need $100 extra because they had made a mistake. Now, she had the nerve to tell me that I had only given them gift certificates for $200 and charged my credit $10 and the total was $310. Well then, you either have someone who stole my gift certificates at the front desk or someone who can't count and shouldn't be working front desk anyway. Why would she charge us only $10 if I had given her only $300 gift certificates? They seriously need to get some new front desk staff! Even if it had been a mistake, that's part of owning a business- you have to suck up your losses if you make a mistake! Nowhere else have I ever gone would have called to get more money based on a mistake they made. more

The staff seems to have issues with entering appointments on the right day for more than just myself (after I read the previous review, I though I could have written that myself). They made an appointment for me and since they don't call to confirm, I left work early to make my appointment only to find out I was a week early! Why would I make an appointment for during my vacation! They tried to accommodate my needs by rescheduling only to call and cancel that appointment 3 hours later (after I had rearranged yet another work day.) My business will find a better spa, with more organized schedulers. more

I cannot stand this salon/spa. Terrible front desk staff. Rude -- unprofessional -- disorganized. I cannot tell you how many times they called me, claiming I "missed an appointment," when, really, they wrote it on the wrong day (as evidenced by my appointment card). The staff is a notch above Hair Cuttery. Save your money. Find a place with customer service and outstanding skill. This is not it. more

I have visited many many salons in my lifetime but this spa is beautiful, PEACEFUL and has excellent staff. Lana who does my hair is excellent and I always leave feeling so much better than when I walked in. My hair is thin and she does wonder with it. Beth Ann who I try to schedule a facial with at least once a month makes me feel 10 yrs younger when I leave. I am a senior citizen and need the help with the face if you know what I mean. She knows her products and her partial massage while the "mask" is drying is a great plus to this service. They both get my vote and the salon is very very lucky to have them. I recommend them as well as the salon for excellent service, professionalism, expertise, and friendly atmosphere. more

My friend and I had treatments recently done. We both enjoyed the great service we received. We normally have treatments done when we take vacation but we both agreed that we no longer have to go away for great spa treatments. I would highly recommend a visit. more

I can't believe how lucky I am to have a spa of this quality near me in the suburbs. I've gone to Toppers on the Main Line and gotten very unprofessional service - and what a waste of money! Le Jardin has such a great atmosphere and professionalism and their prices can't be beat! more

I love going to Le Jardin's salon. The staff is like family, never a bad vibe in the room. All the tech's are knowledgable, helpful and professional. Their skill level is way above your average salon. I have been going to them for 4 years now and I still receive at least one compliment about my hair every week, so I know it looks great and I owe it to the stylist at Le Jardin. I like to say I use one stylist only but sometimes it is o hard to get in I have used other with the same fab results. I recommend it to anyone. 3 out of the 5 times I have interacted with the receptionists, they have been rude. Not friendly people. I got a microdermabrasion there and it was awful! Made my skin so bad and left behind bad red marks from where the woman kept going over my face in the same spot with the machine. Then she proceeds to tell me about all these products that would be good for my skin but doesn't tell me how I can purchase them or get them?!?! Strange... And their pedicures are WAY over priced. You have to go there, they are wonderful! The first time I went I recieved a gift card for a massage with Susan and that was wonderful. Then I went back for my hair and I never recieved so many compliments (even from my husband who never says anything). I went Renee and she was great, she made me feel welcome and listened to what I wanted and did it. It is a great place and it beautiful too! Pros: Great services! Le Jardin is completing a fabulous renovation and it's a must to visit whether you live in the area or make a special day trip. I schedule hair and nails on a regular basis and add in facials and massages. The staff is friendly and professional and it is always a relaxing getaway. Love it! more

A FABULOUS Value outside the city! This is my favorite little place to visit to get away from it all for an hour or two - The staff is uncommonly friendly & accomodating, the Spa is just adorable & comfortable & the services are out of this world - Just as an addition, I loved Kathryn also, but she's not been there for 2 years...... both Lori & Jennifer are awesome - I suggest you give them a try...& as for Sal - he's OLD NEWS!!! My hairstylist, Sal, and esthetician and waxer, Kathryn wisely left this phony place. I have a new stylist but can't find anyone who waxes as well as she did. I had a facial after she left and had NO extractions (something that she always did) and no electronic instruments for an overpriced fee.
