Worst

I had read prior reviews so I knew what I was walking into. The only reason I visited Laura's was that they were the only retailer in Kansas or Missouri to carry a certain design...

Great experience 1/3/2011

Extremely high quality of service - make sure you make an appointment!! Also, come prepared with some ideas in mind as well as a budget. They have a HUGE range of prices and can stick with what you provide. Also, bring a pair of shoes and selection of undergarments - that will make the process that much better for you (although they have offerings for undergarments and shoes). Finally, while it's fun to bring a group with you, the space is not large, so stick to one or at most 2 people to bring along. it'll make the process that much easier for everyone involved more

I got my dream dress at Laura's and it was absolutely amazing!!! They are wonderful to work with. So nice and personable, I would not shop anywhere else!!! They have the best dresses in town, trust me I looked! more

FOUND MY DRESS 10/6/2010

I had a great experience!! I really felt like I was taken care of and that my wedding was important and I wasn't just another bride coming in the door to try on dresses. I had plenty of time to try on dresses and dresses were pulled that I described to try on. I found my dress here too; so that makes my experience even better! more

If you are looking for an elegant, sophisticated, beautiful, no-nonsense gown Laura's is for you. I'm a 35+ woman w/ curves and was terrified! Laura came in early for me and I was blown away by everything! She is welcoming, attentive, thorough, positive, honest, and unbelievably kind; not to mention she's a genious fashionista! they clearly love what they do and did a great job! They squeezed my appointment in on a busy day, and I found a spectacular dress for a reasonable price. I do wish the photography policy was more lenient, though. I'm looking forward to returning for my fittings! more

I appreciated the quality service I received while wedding gown shopping at Laura's. Not only was I (the future bride) treated with respect, but my mother and friends were also treated like royalty. The associate was not pushy or obsessed with making a sale. I felt that the associate's #1 concern was my happiness, no the $ amount.? more

You have to try this place 5/10/2010

Lauras Couture Collection was the best bridal boutique I went to in Kansas City! The customer service was unbeatable and I was treated like royalty (along with my mother and friends). They were not pushy and I did not feel like they only cared about the sale. They cared about me as a person and wanted me to have the best gown for my special day. I was torn between two different gowns at Lauras, and Laura even said I looked the best in the cheaper of the two (which I agreed and I ended up going with it). I knew that I was more than just a dollar amount because of this. Laura and her associates were very friendly and I couldnt have had a better experience. Other bridal shops I went to seemed way too pushy and eager to earn commision. Some would bring out gowns $1000 or more over the budget I had stated. One (Bridal Extraordinaire) even said we would get a 15% discount if we purchased a gown during the first visit. Buying a wedding gown should not be a rushed decision, and I did not feel any pressure at Lauras Couture Collection. If you are looking for a classy, elegant, and unique wedding gown, you HAVE to try Lauras Couture Collection! more
