Lasting Memories

Every time I go this store, they have expanded the size of their store and their selection! It is truly a scrapbookers dream. They have tons of every scrapbooking embellishment that one could imagine. The prices are a little high but they only carry quality stuff. The nice thing is that they also offer all kinds of different classes and workshops which make it easier to find the time to scrapbook! more

I love this scrapbook store! They recently expanded and the store is now very spacious and well-lit. This store always has the latest and greatest scrapbook supplies. They have an enormous collection of dies in the die cut center, and their workroom is great. This is the best scrapbook store in the Seattle Area! more

I may have to try this store again as so many people seem to love it. Unfortunately, the day I was there it was so busy that when someone was finally able to speak to me they had no desire to help me try to find the paper punches I needed for a scrapbook I was trying to complete. In fact the person seemed so overworked, she was a little hostile when I asked if she had any suggestions as to where I should try next. The additude was that if they did not have it, I obviously did not need it. On second thought, maybe I won't try them again. more

I could spend hours in here. It is a scrappers paradise! Lots of sections organized by theme. I have spent many hours in the travel section of this store. Their stock is constantly changing and they are always offering new and exciting products. The prices are comparable to other scrapbook supply stores. They also have a dye cut center. Bring in your paper and pay a few dollars to cut as many dye cuts you can in an hour. The staff is usually friendly, though I have encountered the occasional “scrapping snob:. Check out their classes for a great time. I recommend the Midnight Madness. Simply five hours of scrapping after the store closes. They give door prizes (I have yet to walk away empty handed) and you are free to explore the store, use all the punches and dye cut center. Lots of fun. more

Lasting Memories is the one store you must visit when coming to Seattle. It is about 20 minutes north of Seattle itself, in Lynnwood. It is right off the freeway, across from Alderwood Mall, so it is very easy to find. Lasting Memories carries not only the latest and greatest, but a lot of it!! Their store is divided up into theme such as baby, wedding, cowboys etc. So it really is easy to find coordinating papers and embellishments for a particular set of photos you are working with. They also have an enormous area of patterned paper by color. They stock Bazzill cardstock. A huge diecut area is available for use for a small fee or free with purchase of paper there. Check out their monthly schedule for classes and crops. Their website has coupons and internet specials listed each Tuesday. The staff is the only drawback to this store. Although there are a couple of great employees, most are not overly helpful or friendly. more

Lasting Memories is a special place I save for when I want to treat myself to some creating goodies. They always seem to have the latest and greatest products and their knowledgeable staff is available to help you figure out how best to use the newer items. Good selection, good location, good staff - all make for a very good store! more
