Last Tangle

I was new in town and after trying my hand at coloring my own hair the weekend before a very important meeting I found that I seriously needed someone professional to fix what I did. I found the Last Tangle online and found that I live just a few minutes away. The receptionist was great at finding me just the right colorist to help me. Her name is Elizabeth and she couldn't have been more polite or friendly. She never once blamed me for coloring my own hair but she did walk me through the steps she would have to take to correct it and made me feel very comfortable in her knowledge and many years of experience. She was right! My hair looks amazing and just like I wanted it! I even picked up a few tricks from her on how to make my daily styling easier! Her vast knowledge even helped me find the right products to help preserve her hard work and my amazing haircolor! \r \r P.S. ~ My next appointment is already made. ;) more

I've been a customer at the Last Tangle for over 3 years and love the Salon! From customer services to customer satisfaction this salon does it right. Their portfolio stretches all across the board from weddings to photo shoots- so really there isn't anything they can't do! Jen Thomas is my go to gal and each time I have an appointment I love it more than the one before which most of the time is hard for me to believe that's even possible! more

I am only in town to attend the military ball with my husband. I was in need of a formal hair style. I found Last Tangle online, because I live 4 hours away. I had spoken with Tina on the phone twice before my visit (once to make the appointment, and she called to verify the appointment). She was very nice and accommodating. When I arrived at the salon, I was greeted at the counter by Tina. She offered me a drink and then asked me to take a seat. After a very brief wait, I was introduced to my stylist, Joan. She did an AMAZING job as she took my ideas and her own to style my hair. I LOVED the atmosphere! It's not one of those overly-fancy places where you know you are wasting your money on the environment instead of skilled technicians. I have been to those places in the past, and I am the type of person who doesn't need a $20 glass of wine while getting my hair done. Last Tangle is practical, and the staff is professional and friendly. Wish I didn't live so far away, because I would definitely use their services again. more

The Last Tangle is awesome. I have been a loyal customer of Abby Houseman's for several years now and have recommended her to EVERYONE. My sister-in-law and best friend always get their hair cut with Abby when they are in town (from Raleigh and Houston), and my co-worker now sees her regularly. I couldn't recommend Abby's work more highly. more

My family has been going to this salon for many years. I am comfortable going to any of the stylists for color, cut and style.. Jen, the owner, is terrific and creative. She exemplifies only the best! I will never go anywhere else for any services needed at a salon! I have actually had Angela, Jen and Rose........I love all 3 of them. If they aren't available, I would go to anyone in the salon. They are all so talented and they really know the business as well as the products. more

I could not be more pleased with the service at Last Tangle. I had my hair colored by Joan last night and she did an amazing job. I had recently had a Chi straightening treatment put on my hair and it had stripped my color, to wear my old highlights were showing through. Joan did an excellent job of making sure that my color came out even and natural looking. I'm very happy with the service and the execution at Last Tangle, and would definitely come back again! Rose has been my ""barber"" for years. I have fine hair that is very difficult to cut. She is the only stylist or barber who has ever been able to give me even a good haircut, and Rose's cuts are awesome!! more

Jenny has been my stylist for years and years. She has never given a bad haircut. I have watched her girls grow. I have followed her from salon to salon. Now The Last Tangle is hers and a wonderful place it is. The spa pedicures are a treat also. I am always made to feel welcome by everyone. They call me by name and serve me a cold drink. I would never go elsewhere. Jenny even made home visits after my neck surgery when I couldn't drive to the salon! more

I love this salon, I had an awful experience with four women on the phone who were rude and catty. but the talent in this salon is just Kansas City's best. I love Gabe and Amanda. Jen who owns the salon is great because she encourages her staff to be creative and to continue to aspire and inspire. I was so upset about my appointments and my mom's birthday ruined, I feel that the ladies on the phone were mean and catty, I mean I really wanted to kick their asses...but now that a week has passed, the tears have flowed. ..I just have to say Last Tangle there can't be a last time. I love your talented stylist. more

The Last Tangle is very clean and the staff is very friendly. I always have numerous questions about products and everyone is always helpful, even if they aren't working on my hair or nails. I have been getting my hair done with Emily Johnson for a long time now. I started seeing her after a botched dye job at another Salon and Emily was great. She worked with me through many different color changes and is great at helping pick new cuts and styles too. I will continue to see her even after I move to a different city (30 minutes away) because it is so hard to find a good hair stylist. I recently started getting manicures and pedicures as well and I absolutely suggest getting Shellac. It's only $10 more and my polish has been lasting 3 weeks (probably longer but due to new growth I don't like to wait too much longer to get a polish change). I've heard really good things about the hair stylist who does extensions as well (although I haven't been brave enough to try them yet). more

I have been going to Last Tangle for almost a year now. I have seen 2 different hair stylists, Amanda and Christine. They are hip and know the best styles for hair and color. Recently I went in and there was a new makeup girl Marylee I think. She did an awesome job on my makeup, I looked like a model. They always have great deals every month, so take advantage by calling or checking the website. more

My daughter and I have been going to Last Tagle for almost 3 years. We love going to get our hair done together. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. They offer complimentary beverages and cookies...oh, my daughter always has about 3 or 4 of them. more

i am originally from kansas city but was in texas for work for couple months.i have been going to last tangle for my hair and my eyebrows so went their again and came to know my stylist dosen't work their anymore....was really upset for them not telling me where my stylist went .my cousin wanted her hair done the same day so we end up getting our hair done at this place only.i wanted my hair and my brows threaded ,since my stylist was not there they told me that KATI will charge less since she is learning but will do a good job .i was nervous abt it but i had no choice since i had to be at the wedding so i got my brows done but i was so upset with the results ...she literally messed up my shape ,bruised my skin.i thought i would ather do waxing instead how she did my brows.i would tell last tangle if u dont know how to do service then pls don't offer deals. i wish they would have told me where did DARSHITA went cos i was not happy with my hair either.my cousin also told me she dint like her hair and both the stylist were gossiping abt thier own salon the entire time ...so unprofessional.i would never recommend this place to anyone and ya if i find my stylist i would definately post abt her where she is .it was not the place what it used to be...it was really bad experience. more

Gwen is my Stylist. I had my hair colored and styled and was told I had a style that was a stopper. Believe me I am still recieving compliments everyday and it is 30 days later. I would highly recommend this Salon and especially Gwen. Pros: Great Customer Satifaction more

My hairdresser is Becky. Becky is a very sweet and nice woman who goes out of her way to please me. She is an excellent hair dresser and knows all the new styles and will find one to please you. When I first went to the Last Tangle, my hair was the strangest color(s) and I could not control it. After a good consultation the owner FINALLY got my hair color right. Pros: Great People that know what they are doing Cons: none that I am aware of more

I had a horrible experience at Last Tangle! The staff is very unprofessional, the stylist didn't listen to what I wanted to do with my hair and I was left with a bad haircut and color for weeks. Do yourself a favor and not go to Last Tangle!!! Pros: None. Cons: Very unprofessional more

I'm a model, and had their stylists come to one of our photo shoots. They did a bad job on our hair and all the stylists did was talk bad about the other stylists at the salon. Very unprofessional and do not recommend it at all. more

I went to Last Tangle 2-3 weeks ago and some girl with funky haircut, I think her name was Amanda, she was my stylist. I was a little apprehensive to get my haircut as I did not know if she would do my haircut right. Once I got my haircut, the color did not turnout the I wanted and even the hair cut was just terrible. I had to go somewhere else to get it fixed. The environment in the salon was not professional at all. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Pros: NOTHING Cons: Ruined my hair; worst employees; dont care for customers. more
