IF U WANT TO LOOSE WEIGHT... ask Ken, he will give you all the info. you need, you just have to follow through. This store is very clean and has everything you need. I love this place, and travel quite a distance to get there. more

Oh my gosh! This store is great. Whenever i talk\r vitamins, i tell my friends to go to Larrabee. This\r is the most informative group of people. They go out of their way to give you printed information to better your health. A+. If you value your health, you\r would leave knowing they were helpful. more

Owners are 3rd Generation Nutritionists 5/7/2009

I had been on Weight Watchers for about 4 months and was having bad leg pains. Mr. Ken (as we call him) listened carefully to the problem, asked a few questions about how much I was eating of certain foods and then proceeded to tell me I was not eating enough protein. He opened a few drawers, handed out several pages of dietary changes and some recipes. I increased my protein from 6 oz per day to Mr. Ken's recommended 12-15 oz per day, and in three days, the leg pains were gone and have not returned. I have since returned many times, and the advice is always free and accurate. Mr, Ken is patient and gives you all the time you need. Wonderful place. Pros: Caring and Knowledgeable Owners more

THE BEST 12/9/2008

I was very worried about my health when I walked-in. Both owners were present. They will take all the time necessary to talk and give advise. You will not feel like you have to buy a product. You will leave with a lot of sound advise and if you follow their suggestions, you will feel better in a few days. This is free advise and you would pay a nutritionist at least $300 an hour just to hear the same. I have a slow liver and unhealthy eating habits. This all changed and my liver is doing very well just after a few weeks of following their advise and having the right supplements. more

All natural herbs available 9/17/2005

This store has one of the best raw herb selections I have seen in the Chicago area. The prices on bulk herbs are very reasonable, and the staff is knowledgeable on use and preparation of the herbs. Their selection of health foods and supplements is good, although they are a bit on the pricey side. They also have an excellent selection of containers, so if you are making your own lip balm or soap- pay them a visit! Besides the selection the best thing about this store is the personal, caring attention from staff- you won't get this sort of attention at a large chain more
