Larkin Plumbing

I called Larkin because they are a large company that has been around for a long time. After my experience I am wondering how they have been able to stay in business as long as they have. I called them up and scheduled an appointment for a Saturday at 10 AM. I asked if they could call me to let me know when they will be on their way and he told me no. He informed me that the plumbers may be busy for a while after 10 and when I asked if they could call to let me know if they are busy he acted like I was crazy. Apparently plumbers do not own cell phones. I waited at my house all day and no one showed up or called. I wasted one of my 2 days off per week sitting around waiting and they couldn't even call me to say they would not be bale to make it. They called me the next day at 1 PM at which point I told them no thanks. Pros: ??? Cons: Could not use a phone more

Plumber came to my home. Did his normal work. During the process he unplugged a airfreshener. He layed it sideways on a box of photographs and the oil leaked all over the box and the pictures. I called them to correct and he said he unplugged it but it must have just leaked normally and caused the damaged which wasn't his fault. His being Casey by the way. They are not a good company. Have used this company several times, with average service, average price. However, the last visit, the plumber made a mess, didn't re-caulk around my toilet after removing it and left a 6-inch hole in my wall without telling me. (I assume he swung the toilet that direction and gashed the wall.) Messy, didn't finish the job, didn't even tell me about all the damage. Left rocks scattered all over my front and backyard that took almost an hour to rake up. Pros: Supervisor was very polite Cons: Messy, incompetent, didn't get anything right even when they returned later more

I scheduled Larkin Plumbing & Heating Company to inspect our plumbing and leak issues here at our office on Wednesday October 11, 2006. I confirmed with a service representative they would arrive sometime that day. They never showed, never returned a phone call and as of Monday October 16, 2206 I still have no response from them. more

Another note: Upon contacting Larkin Plumbing & Heating Company I informed them of their ""Best Plumber"" title and they claimed they had no knowledge of this, however were appreciative...I'm guessing they realized they didnt really deserve it! more
