RUN!!! 10/15/2011

I would give Larkin zero stars if I could. I called Larkin at 4:15 pm today (Saturday). I was told a technician would come within 2 hours. I waited for 4 hours before I called (8:15 pm) asking if they were still coming, and if so, what the ETA was. I was told that I would be called back within 15 minutes once that person got a hold of the technician. That person wouldn't give me their name, but took my address as someone was on their way. I waited another hour (9:15) before I called again, and got voicemail. I am so pissed right now. Not only did they waste over 7 hours of my time, they did not call me back, and I still have a plumbing problem that could well be fixed by now had I called someone else. Now I am calling other plumbers at 11:15 at night, and now it's in the 'emergency hours' that constitute extra charges. more

Good Plumbers 1/20/2011

It wasn't a huge disaster but my toilet was leaking onto our floor. larkin looked like a little more money but i figured if they can charge a couple dollars more and still be the only people in the valley with enough workers to fix my minor problem the same afternoon then I will go with them. Pros: They got the job done Cons: My wife is more impressed with Bob the Plumber than she is with me more

It wasn't a huge disaster but my toilet was leaking onto our floor. larkin looked like a little more money but i figured if they can charge a couple dollars more and still be the only people in the valley with enough workers to fix my minor problem the same afternoon then I will go with them. Pros: They got the job done Cons: My wife is more impressed with Bob the Plumber than she is with me more

They know everything 1/5/2011

I've been using Larkin Plumbing for years. They know just about everything. The last visit I made I brought in a junky rotted piece from my sink and asked them for a replacement. I had already gone to Home Depot, Wal-Mart(??), and Lowes, and none of them knew at all what to do. Its like they just got done with their shift from the Sizzler and suddenly they became a plumber. They told me to just buy a new sink. A mexican guy in Larkin plumbing didn't know what the piece was, because it was a random part of my faucet, but then went and asked two older guys, supervisors?. The supervisors guessed but I didn't want to have made the trip twice to return the part so they went into the big office and asked that guy. In the end we found the $8 part for my old house versus buying a whole new system I don't know how they figured all that out from my rotten old part I showed them more

Saved my Life 12/25/2010

I woke up on Christmas Eve with my water heater all over the floor. I was told that Larkin Plumbing is open every day of the year and never charge you any different no matter what time of day or even on holidays so I called and they came as soon as they could fixed my water heater and I was up and running right after that. Best Christmas gift ever. I will never use anyone again! more

called around only guys that had parts I needed,paid same price even though it was a saturday,last time I tried a cheaper plumbing company the guy took forever...I'm convinced I saved money paying ""more"" as there tech was done in minutes, had the parts on his truck . answered all my questions ,and got it right the first time, THANKS GUYS more

Larkin's plumber just left. The bill was $195.00, of which $147 was just to show up. When I called to protest, they said they've been charging this rate for over a year. Plumber was fine, repair done, but we'll be paying for it for a long time. Cons: HUGE trip charge, 1 hour minimum more

Terrible 9/21/2009

I called Larkin because they are a large company that has been around for a long time. After my experience I am wondering how they have been able to stay in business as long as they have. I called them up and scheduled an appointment for a Saturday at 10 AM. I asked if they could call me to let me know when they will be on their way and he told me no. He informed me that the plumbers may be busy for a while after 10 and when I asked if they could call to let me know if they are busy he acted like I was crazy. Apparently plumbers do not own cell phones. I waited at my house all day and no one showed up or called. I wasted one of my 2 days off per week sitting around waiting and they couldn't even call me to say they would not be bale to make it. They called me the next day at 1 PM at which point I told them no thanks. Pros: ??? Cons: Could not use a phone more
