Where should I begin?\r

1. My wife and I had our apartment broken into. They have no security, nor did they plan on getting any security after this event took place. They have flood lights that are burned out, so many of the sidewalks are very dark, and they only time that they make the effort to fix these problems is when a crime takes place.\r

2. My car and my wife's car were both broken into. Again, there were burned out flood lights in the parking lots that were replace AFTER our cars were vandalized and robbed. There is a security gate that is constantly broken, so it's very easy for intruders to come into the apartment complex. There is a fence around the back of the complex that is full of holes and security breaches.\r

3. The amenities are in shambles. The fitness equipment, particularly the treadmills, are in very poor condition. I asked the manager about this problem, and she had the guts to tell me that they had new fitness equipment. The pool is always a mess and usually isn't usable until about half way through the summer. It is full of pond scum during the rest of the year. The maintenance crew are nice, but they are lazy. They fix something only for it to break a month later.\r

4. The apartments are full of bugs. I was bitten 3 times by a Brown Recluse inside my apartment. I was constantly having to clean spider webs off of the front door and the porch. There are also cockroaches, which the staff claim are some sort of pine roach, so they won't make any effort to exterminate your apartment.\r
\r
5. The air ducts are full of dust. Don't move here especially if you're allergic to dust.\r

They were ""kind"" enough to let us out of our lease without charging us a fee to break the lease, but 2 months after our move out, they are still pursuing us for payment to repair damages that only happened due to wear and tear after living there for three years, and never missing a single rent payment. The sad part is that I had a good relationship with a lot of the staff before I left, and their poor job of handling all of these situations has really left a bad taste in my mouth.
