Rich Landar tuned my near dilapidated turn-of-the-century piano and I can't believe the transformation. A performing musician himself, he understands the importance of a well tuned instrument. Meticulous in his work, he spent a good hour and half working on the strings, interrupting himself only to discuss ways to enhance the tone quality of the piano even more. He not only got the piano sounding great, but has ordered obscure missing parts of the piano for me. A task impossible without him. Completely recommend Rich Landar for all piano servicing. more

Never disappointed 9/7/2011

Awesome folks here know how to take care of your stuff. Ask any question and they can answer it, with a friendly attitude and service that goes beyond what you expect from a normal music store. I come here all the time with my piano questions, and am never disappointed.. more

Rich is my go-to Tuner 7/10/2009

Great piano tuner 2/25/2008

Rich Landar tunes pianos for the pros in town and he should be the only one you allow to tune yours. His very professional, ""hands-on"" approach to the process makes up for all the tuners I've hired in the past who tinkered with the thing for a few minutes and called it ""done."" He took the time to make sure every key was spot on, adjusted the sustain pedal, and even explained things as he worked, giving me much more insight into the tuning process. His price was very fair, my piano sounds better than it ever has, and my hat goes off to a good guy who knows his stuff! :) more

I highly recommend Rich for piano repairs and tuning because he is very knowledgable, friendly, affordable and honest. He gave us a great rate and gave us plenty of good tips about keeping our piano in fine working order. I now see why the pros use him often and why he has such a great reputation. more
