I have been going to Landa for a while now for laser hair removal. I got my deal through Groupon and it has been so far a great experience. The treatment is working, although taking more than I thought, but the doctors are professional, and understanding. One time I ran late and I saw Gabrielle on the way down the elevator... she saw me and turned around to fit me in even though I was obviously too late. I would highly recommend this spa. more

This is hands down one of the greatest spas I've ever been to. I was completely exhausted and worn out when I decided to finally needed have some quiet, peaceful down time. When I came across the Landa Cosmetic & Spa, I instantly knew this was the place I needed to go. Walking in, the atmosphere is fantastic. You instantly feel calm walking through the doors. I started with the Lift Mask, and it was just what I needed. My face still feels so refreshed and smooth. I'm so, so beyond happy with the results from Landa Cosmetic, and would 100% recommend this to anyone who needs time to refresh and relax. more

I had purchased a Groupon for Landa Cosmetic for a laser treatment for a small area. I called to schedule my appointment and they were very accommodating with my schedule. Gabrielle Landa is a true professional and amazing at her job. I was even able to purchase another area to laser at the Groupon price! I would highly recommend Landa Comsetic to anyone. I bought an amazing Groupon for laser hair removal from Landa Spa. It was one tenth the amount that my sister-in-law paid for her laser treatments in Boston! So far, I have had four appointments with Gabriela and all of them were GREAT!! She is so sweet and kind and takes the time to explain the answers to all of my questions. Also, when there was a product I needed but didn't have the money to buy that day she told me to take it and pay her later. Wow, to me a person who trusts is one who can be trusted. :) I definitely recommend Landa Spa and Gabriela to anyone. Oh, and Lucy who works there is very nice, as well. :) more

I've enlisted the services of Landa Medical Spa on two different occasions so far, and was satisfied with both experiences.\r \r Two months ago (when my usual aesthetician went on maternity leave) I gave Landa a shot. Like most of the other reviews mention this is a clean, professional office -there was a short wait when I first arrived for my appointment, but the staff was courteous and friendly. \r \r After my consultation (free btw, though it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know I have some stress/hormonal acne) I received a facial treatment of glycolic acid and some kind of antibiotic.\r \r Whatever it was, it worked! My breakouts have decreased significantly since the that visit and the products and cleansing routine recommended to me have helped me maintain my clear skin :)\r \r My second visit to Landa was about a week ago, to have my make-up done before having some head shots taken. I looked great and barring a few touch-ups to account for my sweating, my make-up lasted throughout the shoot and the rest of the day.\r \r I haven't had a chance to try some of the other services offered at this spa (like hair removal or botox) simply because they're a bit outside my current budget, but once I'm in the market I would be very comfortable placing myself in the hands of the people here.\r \r For now I have my next facial treatment scheduled at Landa and I'm thinking of adding microdermabrasion to my appointment since my acne has cleared up so well. more

I’ve never been much of a spa girl aside from the occasional massage or manicure, but now that I’m in my 30’s, I’ve been starting to feel like my years of tanning and stress have begun to take a toll on my skin. Thus, it was time to take action and shell out some money to get back a bit of my youthful appearance!\r \r While researching local spas for facials and microdermabrasion to help with my sun spots and fine lines, I found Landa Medical Spa. I checked out the prices compared to the spas closest to my job (in downtown Boston) and discovered them to be lower in price and closer to my home in Framingham (score!) , so I decided to schedule an appointment for a facial one Saturday morning.\r \r Let me start by saying, these folks really care about meeting each individual client’s needs. I was told each client is different, and they wanted me to come in for a consultation to see which services could be most beneficial to me in relation to the results that I wanted. I thought this was pretty incredible, since all I really wanted to do was come in for a facial!\r \r When I arrived for my appointment, they asked me many questions and helped me to weigh my options. I decided to opt for a chemical peel treatment rather than a facial. They were very thorough and professional, and the procedure “burned’ far less than I had anticipated based upon stories my friends had told me of their own chemical spa treatments. \r I left the spa with smoother skin than I’ve had in a decade and my “crowsfeet” were visibly reduced in just one treatment. If you’re looking for a medical spa with Boston’s Newbury Street results on a smaller budget, this place is a MUST to check out. \r \r I loved my services so much that I have scheduled a Endrmologie massage for next weekend; an FDA approved lipo massage , as I’ve started to develop some cellulite despite years of being physically active and athletic. I hadn’t even heard of this procedure until my appointment, but they were so wonderful about assessing my needs and figuring out which services would benefit me, that I just have to give it a whirl! I am looking into laser hair removal on my underarms at Landa; which I’ve contemplated for years, but have bypassed because of the pain. I feel they are so gentle and take pride in making procedures as pain free as possible, that if I’m going to do it anywhere; it will be here! \r \r I give Landa Medical Spa 5 stars, whether you’re simply looking for a Girl’s Day Out for facials or looking for major skincare treatments to take years off your skin. I have had a very good experience at Landa Cosmetic & Spa! Bought a LivingSocial voucher which has been cheerfully and professionally honored, even when I have had to change appointment times on short notice. I was offered supplemental products, but did not feel at all pushed to buy, nor was I treated any less warmly on my second visit. Best of all (and isn't this the whole point?) - my underarms are now almost completely hairless! One or two more treatments should do it. I would definitely recommend Landa. more

I have been a client of Landa Spa for a number of years and have always been very satisfied with my services. I have used most of the services that Gabriela offers and have found them to make a big positive difference in my skin. She recommends what she thinks I should do but never pushes me to do it. I also use Gabriela's products. She doesn't push them on me. If I want them, I buy them and if not, I don't. I always feel that I am in good hands at this spa and trust that my outcome will be for the best. I have never been disappointed. more

Honestly , Even i dont understand how people can even write good things about them. \r Gabriella , tries to sell her products all the time and if you dont wanna buy her products they don't entertain you nicely....\r I bought a deal from deal finder in November 2012 for $200\r The package includes unlimited laser hair removal treatment for ONE YEAR from the start date. So now when the voucher is expiring on May 8th 2013 she doesnt wanna book my appointments ....And telling me to go and talk to dealfind.\r \r AS OF TODAY I HAVE CONTACTED DEALFIND ALSO BUT DONT kNOW HOW ITS GONNA HELP ME ... I bought a Living Social deal for laser hair removal. I wasn't sure what to expect but Gabriel was very informative and put me at ease. She is very knowledgeable and sweet. I found Landa Spa through a Groupon and have been extremely impressed with the quality of work and customer service. Both Gabriella and her staff are warm and friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I bought a package of microdermabrasions and have had great results. I only found out about Landa Cosmetic & Spa because of a Living Social deal; I had wanted to try laser hair removal, was a little skeptical, but so done with shaving my legs so I figured it was worth a shot at a discount, right? BEST decision I have ever made. Gabriela Landa (owns and runs the salon) is absolutely amazing: kind, understanding, knowledgable, and gentle. She has a background in Medicine, and it is clear by her bedside demeanor and how she truly understands the bodies responses to all of the treatments, so she can tell you with absolute honesty and confidence, how they work in laymen's terms (or medical- I am in the medical field). Short story long: I am SO happy with the results (that are amazingly fast, truly painless, and in a totally comfortable and relaxing setting) that I haven't just stopped with my legs (arms & brazilian- yup and Gabriela makes you feel so comfortable that it is not at all awkward!) and this is now my go to salon/spa for all treatments. It is a full service spa that offers treatments for skin (acne, etc), to facials, to cellulite, dermabrasion, laser hair removal, botox, etc. You will NOT regret going and honestly all the staff is so great, I drive from the city to Framingham because they are so amazing, and actually want you to look and feel good (and they don't push you to get other treatments at all!)\r \r Love Landa! Gabriella Landa is incredibly knowledgeable and always works to make sure that I am comfortable throughout the procedure. I visited Landa on a Thursday a couple weeks ago, it was a great experience. Gabriela really knew her stuff. After my visit she ended up giving me a recommendation for botox just from talking with her about my face and my family's history of age spots. I'm going back in next week. more

Being male it never seemed that I would get spider veins, especially at such an early age. But due to a Rugby accident I had one in my left leg that bothered me and especially my fiance. I had never looked into procedures before until I was recommended to Landa by a friend. I went in and they were extremely helpful. They walked me through the procedure and how many it would take before full removal. They are also very efficient and flexible when it come to scheduling an appointment. I went in for Sclerotherapy about a month ago it's already made such a difference. It's a great place that sets a comfortable atmosphere especially helpful when dealing with personal cosmetics. more

Gave my niece a gift certificate and she used it right away, said they were very nice and did not keep her waiting, which is important to her. Just moved from CT so had no regular place, and she's glad to have them in town. How did she look? Awesome as always. Landa Cosmetic & Spa is a wonderful place for all of your spa needs--whether they be facial or corporal, they seem to do it all! It is very easy to get an appointment, and they are very flexible about times, if you need to cancel or if you are delayed for whatever reason. I miss the former receptionist, Lorena, but her replacement, Lucy, is doing a great job, too. The owner, Gabriela, is extremely knowledgeable; she was trained in the field of medicine and worked as a physician in her native country of Peru before she moved to the United States. All of the products that they sell at Landa are medical grade and are therefore of much higher quality than those sold at other spas that are not medical spas. I have been undergoing various facial treatments, which I started originally as a result of a Groupon coupon that I had purchased, for some time and have been very pleased with the results. Gabriela is an amazing woman! more
