Great therapy 1/22/2024

I couldn’t walk when I got here and I am happy to say I am walking out. I really liked the therapists approach to therapy, they make it fun. The know when to push and when to back up. I absolutely would recommend Lancaster Rehab. more

Top notch 1/22/2024

The entire staff, tech, nurses, therapists, doctors, housekeeping and kitchen aides were top notch. The food was excellent, the care superb,. I think this was the best care I’ve ever gotten in any healthcare experience. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to come to this hospital if you need rehab care. more

Hidden gem 1/20/2024

What a great place that I didn’t know was here in Lancaster. When I had my accident and couldn’t go home, they recommended I come here. The staff here made me feel welcome from the moment got here. They have compassion and knew what to do to get me better. The therapy team was wonderful and got me able to go home. The nursing staff and aides were so sweet. The kitchen staff did everything they could to make my meals something I wanted to eat. I hope I NEVER have to come back, but if I need it, I wouldn’t hesitate to come back, and if someone I knew needed rehab, I would certainly tell them about this hidden gem. more

My dad’s stay here was uneventful, but productive. He has some mild dementia and we weren’t sure how he would do away from home. He did well, they kept him safe and because of the therapy, he was tired. The entire team here couldn’t have been better, or more professional. I would absoluely recommend and would not hesitate to bring anyone here. Thank you. more

Great place for mom 1/18/2024

This was a great place for my mom to recover from her stroke. The staff here are so kind, compassionate caring and fun! We were worried about what type of care she would get, as there are scary stories about care facilities, especially with the staffing shortages. This place was beyond anything we expected. Clean, no funny smells, good food, responsive staff. I would highly recommend to anyone. Glad my mom came here. more

My stay here was very good. The personnel were wonderful and nice. They treated me kindly. I appreciated Dee my aid and my therapists, Kayla and her student, as well as Nicole my OT. They kept me engaged and progressing. The facility is clean and the rooms private. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. more

100% recommend 1/17/2024

This facility is really nice. I was in a rehab in Harrisburg a couple years ago, and it was not nearly as nice as here. The therapy staff, especially PT are superior. Kayla and her assistant were absolutely wonderful. The team is up to date with latest modalities and ideas for recovery. They don’t waste time either, if you have 8 minutes left in therapy time, they use it. They challenge you to do your best. I would 100% recommend without hesitation. more

I would give 10 stars if I could. I couldn’t rate it any higher than 5. Everybody here is so kind. They treated me very well, and I got good care. My therapist Kayla with her student wentvway above and beyond. I almost don’t want to go, and I would not hesitate to recommend. more

Well run and organized. 1/16/2024

This is a well run, organized and clean facility. I am from the Reading area and wish there was a rehab like this in my area. It was a drive for my wife to come visit. I had neck surgery and appreciated the therapy, but I am typically an active man, and I did find myself bored at times. I would certainly recommend Lancaster Rehab to anyone who needs their type of care and expertise. Lee from West Wing more

I really liked it here, everyone was really nice and caring. They took good care of me. I didn’t like the heparin shots though. I would definitely recommend, I had no complaints. I had one nurse who stood out, but I can’t remember her name. Dark hair, worked day shift. Rosemarie from NRC more

I am not a fan of the alarms on the bed and chair, but I understand the rational. The food was good, the nursing staff was professional and all good. The therapy team did a good job, I am going home. I would recommend. more

Liked the coffee 1/13/2024

The people here make it great. They give good service, and I liked everyone of them. They were caring and gentle. The food was good, and my husband and I both thought the coffe was good, not watered down. I would recommend This place if you need it more

Would recommend 1/13/2024

I couldn’t walk when I got here and I am walking out, that says everything. I liked the therapy team approach to therapy. They know when to push and when to back off. I honestly wanted to sit out some days and not do therapy, but the therapists knew how to get me going. I knew I needed to do it, but just needed encourage to, which they did. Appreciated everything 1/12/2024

I was defeated after having my stroke. I really felt like giving up. My family insisted I come her, and now I am grateful I did. I am going to have lots of help at home in the beginning, but I am going home. I feared I would never step back in my home. The staff here are wonderful and know what to do to get you back home. I really sincerely appreciate everything they did for me. more

Remarkable place 1/11/2024

My stay was so remarkable, as I was treated with such care and companion. I was a Chaplain and I was blessed by these angels. I made such great progress while here, and I owe it to each of the. I only had one experience with a staff member, and I pray she was just having a bad day. I would highly recommend Lancaster Rehabilitation if you need recovery from a life event. I was very glad I came here, I had a good experience. The nurses and doctors were all wonderful, they certainly work you to get you ready to go home. And I am glad they do. I liked that they posted my schedule for the day so I knew what to expect whe. I really liked my nurse Mellisa and Dr. Joe, he was so wonderful. I would certainly recommend. more

Highly recommend 1/8/2024

My stay here was very good. The physical therapists really helped with my legs and my walking. I am very happy with what I accomplished while here. Nurses did a good job too. I really liked Mollie my PT and Emma my OT. I also enjoyed Dee my nursing aid. I would highly recommend this rehabilitation hospital to anyone. more

Great place, great rehab 1/7/2024

This a great place to recover from almost anything. I had a stroke issue and needed the neuron unit. Dr. P was great. He took his time with me and explained things to me so I could understand. Dylan and Nicole my therapists, were awesome. My nurses and aides were very helpful and caring. I saw other patients with all kinds of health issues and behaviors and the entire staff treated each person with such dignity and respect. I would highly reccomend and was blessed to have been here. more

Highly recommend 1/6/2024

This hospital has been excellent with and for my dad. He had a stroke and we thought he wouldn’t recover well enough to go home. But the Lancaster General Hospital recommended he come here for some intense therapy. We are so grateful he got accepted here. They did miracles with him and he is going back home. He will continue with therapy at home, but he made such amazing gains here. Our family is grateful and would highly recommend. more

Wonderful 1/6/2024

I have tears in my eyes being so grateful for everything. I was in another rehab in Maryland before and it was horrible. I signed myself out. The exact opposite experience here. The staff here are wonderful, they are responsive, kind and caring. All staff, aides, nurses, therapists, doctors, case managers, cafeteria , housekeeping, everyone! I would absolutely recommend Lancaster Rehabilitation Hospital to anyone, and I live in Maryland, worth the trip. more

  • We offer specialized treatment programs for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation and orthopedic injury as well as other injury and illness. Our rehabilitation programs are centered around the individual needs of each patient to improve health, function and quality of life. Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities differ from other post-acute options most notably in the amount of therapy offered and medical oversight provided. We offer specialized therapy, rehab-trained nursing care, rehabilitation physician involvement and disease state management tailored to our patient population. Our patients receive at least 3 hours of therapy at least 5 days each week.
