Editorial review from Citysearch 1/10/2013

Office staff is HORRIBLE! Amy and Devon are the BIGGEST douche bags I have ever dealt with in my entire life! I don't even know why they are employed! They should just fire them and start fresh! No wonder they have such poor ratings LOL!!! They are lucky they have patients with those attitudes. I wouldn't walk through the front door if THEY paid ME at this point. more

Not Just me 5/9/2012

The negative reviews on both the doctor and the office staff mirror my experience. I would go so far as to say that he lacks some critical knowlege and skills and compensates with arrogance. more

REALLY? 1/20/2011

I'm so surprised by the poor reviews! My son has recurring febrile seizures. While they aren't ""serious"" medically, Dr. Cass has always treated our case as completely important. He returns our calls himself, asks questions, reassures us, didn't rush to prescribe anything. I can't tell you what his care has meant to us dealing with a really scary event. Thank you, Dr. Cass! (We also didn't have any trouble getting an appt. when we were seen by him.) more

Why is he in practice? 3/22/2010

When my daughter first saw him, I thought ""he is OK."" Was I wrong. They don't return your calls, his answer to everything is to increase the meds"", She was on 3 medications in a year but multiple, multiple rx increases. He only saw my daughter one time in 18 months, He actually asked me if I was right when I gave him my daughters prescription doseage right off the bottle, saying ""that doseage can't be right."" When he takes a vacation there is no back-up for him. My daughter was not in good control & he said to me ""I'll be back in 2 weeks."" I could go on & on. The good news..she is now seen by a professional neuro in a professional practice where her best interests are being looked out for. FINALLY. By the way he gets 1 star by default not by choice. There should be a blank rating for the really bad. Pros: none really... Cons: Condescending, rude, arrogant God complex more

Is he still in practice? 10/20/2009

I am one of 3 in my family who has been examined/improperly diagnosed, improperly treated by this man. Cons: Indignant, God-Complex, Unprofessional more

I have no clue why he practices medicine 10/19/2009

We brought my stepson to Dr Cass. The appointment was rescheduled from their end 3 times in 4 days, once by prerecorded message giving an inaccurate time. The staff passed the buck to someone absent, also stating they don't use prerecorded messages. The doctor himself refused to incorporate new information into his assessment, and kept trying to push a course of treatment that would allow him to prescribe a medication for which he was displaying many promotional materials. My wife and I have some knowledge about several aspects of the possible diagnoses, and were clearly informed enough to have a dialogue. However, the more we tried to offer a different view of things, the more visibly annoyed the doctor got. He did not accept our advocating for the boys best interest; he seemed to want to be deferred to totally. At one point he even googled an answer to a question we had, and assumed a condescending attitude. We will take the boy elsewhere. Pros: Not a one (1 star because, stupidly, none is not allowed) Cons: Unprofessional staff, uninformed, condescending doctor more

staff improvement BADLY needed 7/28/2009

i have dealt with a succession of doctors there - you never really know when one is leaving or moving on to a new area so my experience if you do't get a consistent rapport with a professional. Also, it is SO hard to get an appointment or medication refill. You call, leave a message on voice mail rather than speak to a person and PRAY they might call you back - leave yourself a week or two to try to get in touch. Pros: visits usually are on time Cons: disorganized staff, poor communication more

UNPROFESSIONAL 6/14/2009

I have been trying to see Dr. Cass for a few months. my son is in pain everyday. The staffing is immature. There are so many people coming and going your children get lost in the midst of things. They never call back and then like infants they blame each other in the office. If my child has a life-threatening condition who's going to pay??? I think maybe they are discriminating against medicaid. My son is autistic so by law he receives medicaid. They are unethical. I have sent e-mails to the AMA, Ethics, and Medicaid and my state representitive. Because his staff are idiots I want a mark on his doctorial record. If you need a neurologist there are so many to choose from, don't let your child suffer by taking them to Dr. Cass. If you do I will be more than happy to give you my lawyers phone number for the neglect you are about to receive. Cons: Staffing unacceptable more
