A good, trustworthy dentist is like a good, trustworthy mechanic. I've been a patient for a\r couple of years and I love them. Dr. David is professional and will set you at ease and their office is the Apple Store of dental offices. In addition to regular cleanings (which are quick and painless) last year I had to get a crown for a cracked tooth. Not fun, but handled with a lot of care and attention by Dr. David. And a bonus - on longer appointments they turn on a TV and you can select stuff to watch from their TV. Fancy. I also have a friend who is dental-phobic who went there on my advice - and told me he was more at ease with Dr. David than any dentist he had ever encountered. Looking for a new dentist? I got dry sockets in my two extraction sites - having nothing to do with anything Dr. David did,\r some of us are just unlucky. The pain was slowly growing throughout the week, but I'm a big\r believer in the power of positive thinking (coupled with a hefty dose of delusion), so I stupidly\r waited until Friday evening to cave and admit I needed to come in. Dr. David was able to get me in the next day, and I was swiftly out of pain. He numbed me up and packed the holes with clove oil and I was instantly pain free. He said sometimes clove oil packing works after just doing it once, and sometimes you need to do it everyday for a few days - and offered to come back in and re-pack it on a Sunday (even though I'm pretty sure they're normally closed) if necessary. Pretty Awesome. more

I found out about Dr. David through you guys and I can't say this enough but the reviewers got\r it right again!Dr. David is so smart, nice, funny, and the best dentist I've been to in the city. Not only does he do excellent work but he really takes the time to get to know you, talk to you, and provides the best service in town. The tech in this office is also incredible- the huge LCD screens that show pictures of your teeth as well as TV, the cutting edge dentistry devices, and the email communications/appointments are just top notch. Highly recommended! more

I've been going to DR David for about 4 years now and I wouldn't consider going to anyone else in Texas. Not only is he great at his job but he doesn't judge you for all your bad habits! We all know we're supposed to floss twice a day and go for a cleaning every 6 months but I admit it, I don't like to floss! I missed my last cleaning and expected a lecture on how important it is but instead he just welcomed me with open arms, no questions asked. All in all, DR David manages to make your visits easy, positive and painless. I got my wisdom teeth removed in this office with the other dentist and I was also really impressed by his bedside manners and I didn't have any complications with this procedure. Yes, the laughing gas and drugs probably made this a bit more magical but you really can't go wrong with Lake Travis Dentistry. To top it off, they have a phenomenal office that is clean and chic. Everything is new and they have spiffy cameras, screens and X-ray machines accessible in every room. Their receptionists and dental assistants are all really polite, sweet and smart. I have only been treated with the best care here!\r more

I was very impressed with the entire office staff. The receptionist who checks you in was\r friendly and helpful. The office is neat, clean and modern. His equipment was state of the art.\r The cleaning and x-rays were performed by a dental hygienist who was excellent and thorough.\r Dr. David is young but he was funny, and professional. I have tried many dentists and I am\r certainly returning to this office for follow-up treatment. more

Dr. David is amazing. I went there after a Groupon deal and found him to be thorough, gentle,\r knowledgeable, nice, and helpful and his staff was amazing. He even sent me a holiday card. I\r am really upset that I can't see him anymore because of my insurance and he doesn't accept\r it. I would suggest his services to anyone, but unfortunately, very few good dentists accept my\r insurance. They must be awful to deal with. more

I've been going to another dentist for a long time but my husband tried Dr. David and had such\r a good experience I decided to switch. Ditto to all of the other reviews: the office seems to have\r the latest equipment, the staff is friendly and competent, Dr. David let me know what to expect\r every step of the way. Here's what I liked best though: I had to have a root canal and a crown.\r In the past, I could expect three or four visits to get all of that done. Dr. David asked me how I\r felt about getting as much done as possible in a single visit. I jumped at the chance. He spent an\r hour and forty-five minutes straight working on my teeth. Fantastic! Got most of the work done\r in my first visit. Also, he called in the evening to check in on me. Clearly he's totally committed\r to building a top notch practice and he's well on his way. more

I just had the best dental experience I've ever had with Dr. David & his staff.\r First, I had a terrible cold and had to reschedule at the last minute. His staff was so sweet, and\r didn't give me a hard time about rescheduling.\r When I finally go to come to his office, I was so impressed! It’s beautiful!! All new machines,\r and sparking clean. His staff was welcoming, and smiling and laughing and genuinely seemed to\r like being there.\r During your exam, you can watch TV and they even let you have the remote. Dr. David takes\r over for a few minutes and shows you your x-rays on the TV, and goes over them in incredible\r detail. He answered all my questions, and took his time, never did he seem rushed.\r I do not have dental insurance and his prices are extremely reasonable, especially for such great\r service. He is definitely my new dentist. more

The receptionist was very friendly and I was seen on time for my appointment. A dental\r hygienist, Lauren (try and remember her name ha!) was extremely friendly and took care of\r most of my encounter. She took the X-Rays and did the check up and scaling. Dr. David came\r in afterwards, double checked Laurens work, and went over the X-Ray results with me on a TV\r screen.\r This practice really goes out of its way to make the patient feel relaxed and comfortable. A TV\r is placed above the patient's chair and you are given the remote. I was encouraged to watch\r whatever at whatever volume, even during the cleaning. Both the hygienist and the dentist\r were sociable and down to earth. It was a very stress-free trip to the dentist for sure. more

Dr. David and his staff are great. Lauren, the famous hygienist, was wonderful, and had\r me smiling from start to finish. Dr. David, though delivering some pretty crappy news, was\r very cool and knew the answer to every question I threw at him (and there were a lot). The\r reception desk was very helpful with explaining the breakdown of my treatment proposal and\r gave me some great advice on how I should go about booking my visits. All in all it was a great\r visit, and I am very glad that I was referred to this office. more

BEST DENTIST EVER! (You'll thank me later.) Had a cavity filled yesterday (quick, easy, and surprisingly almost painless) and Dr. David called me later to ask how I was feeling. I've always\r feared the dentist, and now I slightly look forward to it! more

Great office staff, who greeted me upon arrival and made me feel comfortable. Hygienist/\r technician was very thorough, explained every procedure and answered all my questions. Dr.\r David was very friendly with great chair-side manner! He was detail-oriented, knowledgeable\r and left me feeling like I understood all my options. Not really a fan of dentists but Dr. David\r and his team won me over! more

By far the best dentist I've gone too. I've been going to Dr. David for about a year now and I\r wouldn't change him for the world. His clean, modern and new equipment office makes his\r expertise and friendliness a new dental experience for any one.\r He always has appointments and I have never waited more than 2-3 minutes. His hours are\r great from early morning (before work) to even some weekends.\r All staff is friendly and goes accordingly with Dr. David’s personality. It also helps that my office\r is literally down the street. more

I came here after getting my last cleaning at a somewhat shady dental office downtown and I\r am so happy that I did; Dr. David and his whole staff are awesome. I tend to have very limited\r availability and when I called to schedule my cleaning they were able to squeeze me in to\r someone's cancellation the following week! When I got there, everyone was friendly, the wait\r time was brief, and the appointment went quickly.\r I went back a second time to get two cracked fillings replaced on my lunch and he was quick\r and efficient. I was in and out in under an hour. I'm a pretty nervous dentist-goer and Dr. David\r makes the whole process comfortable and almost enjoyable (minus the drilling and needles\r part lol). Highly recommend him and his office. more

I did not know what great dentistry was until I came here. I was looking for a new dentist in\r Austin after moving to the city last August, and could not have been happier. I had a college\r friend refer me, and I'm so glad he did, because not only did I have my cavities taken care of,\r but also I found a dentist that I truly even enjoy going to! more
