Small 76 space 55+ waterfront park on north end of Lake Meridian on east hill of Kent and only one mile to stores. Variety of older single wide homes and newer double wides with nice green area between homes. Good lake fishing and swimming and views of Mt.Rainier and Cascades. Park location is end of dead-end street. Space rent includes water, sanitary, and garbage disposal. Double wide serves as clubhouse and has pool table. I started the new century here and can recommend again (since we've had a change of mgmt. in 2008 & maintenance in '09). Mary Gere was fired and evicted from Lake Meridian Estates for suspicious behavior and ""irregularities in her duties as manager."" Her daughter, Kelly Reed, who had been acting manager, was also forcibly removed from Lake Meridian Estates MHP. Mrs. Gere had been taken to court for harassment . She was also suspected of filing a fraudulent medical claim for a bogus ""traffic injury."" Mary Gere has been fired as manager of this park for ""bizarre"" behavior. However, she still resides in the park and directs her daughter to mismanage. Five residents have made arrangements to leave this park since Ms. Gere faked an automobile accident to get a resident evicted. Ms. Gere is being taken to court for her offenses. Pros: The view of Mt. Rainier is fantastic! Cons: Manager Mary Gere has been fired. Her daughter continues with mismanagement and intimidation. more

I am interested in living at Lake Meridian Estates. This is my second experience living in a Mobile Home Community; the first was a rental, this one would b e an onsite purchase. The Manager has been terrific to work with. Any Manager of a business is obligated to represent that business in a professional way. I have had nothing but excellent service from the her. She has been pleasent, curtious, and seems to know the business VERYwell. She has been upfront about rules and regs. I have had my fair share of landlords ... and situations where my rent has been late. Real late. I understand about grace periods (re: rent due) and anything beyond that point ... well, it is what it is. If something is not fair, it's simple. Act on it. Bottom line is, be about your business. \r \r The view is fantistic. Mt. Rainier is huge! I'm looking forward to living here.\r \r Pros: Thumbs up. My wife and I are considering filing discrimination suit against Mrs. Gere, the manager of this mobile home park. We happen to be African-American, and she did everything possible to discourage our renting. Very rude and acts as though she is disturbed. more

Manager behaves as if she had experience with the gestappo. She is very MEAN! (November 2007)\r She will threaten you with eviction if she doesn't like you. Pros: On beautiful Lake Meridian Cons: Manager is unfit to work with people. Her friends can break regs., others cannot. more
