Review for Jason 8/1/2017

Jason was great at responding to my call for help. He was quick at resolving the problem and worked very hard, despite the small space he had to work in and very helpful with answering my questions. The only thing I could have used a little more help with was that a few days later I think I still heard the sump pump running and I don"t know if it is suppose to keep running or not????? He solved the problem as soon as he was able to and I do appreciate that. I am just not familiar with how those things work. more

New Garbage Disposal 9/28/2016

It was perfect. It took Mike less than 30 minutes to remove the old unit and install the new one. When I turned it on, it was so quiet, it was almost musical. The drawback was it cost $247.34. So, Mike's billing rate is close to $500 an hour. I think, next time, I will get a second quote, first, because Lake Cook Plumbing charges $49 just for the quote if you do not agree to the repairs. more

Casey Took Great Care 9/28/2016

Casey L. was punctual in his arrival and spent a generous amount of time at our home. He explained each diagnostic procedure to be followed, and pointed out required remedial measures. He did walk-arounds, prepared complete estimates and showed us exact costs for each procedure. When we decided on a course of action, he immediately undertook the repairs. Very prompt, very thorough, very dedicated to his trade. We'd be happy to have him back again next year. Thanks. more

Very Professional, Honest, and Recommended! 9/23/2016

I selected Lake Cook Plumbing after reading about them in the "Best Pick Reports of North Shore." I spoke with the owner on the phone who explained what to expect from their company, they gave me quotes before completing any work (which was very fair), Casey the plumber was very professional, knowledgeable, and I will definitely use Lake Cook Plumbing for all my plumbing needs. I live in Lake Forest and next time I need home services, I will trust the "Best Pick Reports of North Shore" guide. There's a reason why these companies have earned their reputations. more

Lake Cook Plumbing Review 7/15/2016

Had a leaking sink. Called Lake Cook on recommendation of a neighbor. They came out next day, fixed the leak, did another home improvement project that I had been meaning to have done. They were prompt, efficient and did great work! more

Remove Kitchen Faucet 6/25/2016

Josh did what I could not do. I had tried for over one hour to simply remove an old kitchen faucet. But, the nuts were "welded" to the metal washers. Josh came in and because he knew what to do, he broke off the bolts from the metal washers and lifted the faucet out. He did this in less than 15 minutes and I was very grateful. It was well worth the cost of $163. more

Lake Cook Plumbing 5/24/2016

After having called several plumbing companies to get an estimate on a simple rodding of the bathtub, I came upon Lake Cook Plumbing. Their prices were much better than the others I spoke to and the service was super fast and great. Chris was very polite and knowledgeable and provided me with quotes on some other things I have on my plumbing wish list. He gave me several recommendations of jobs that could be done easily and with minimum cost that would prevent flooding. All in all, I would highly recommend Lake Cook. They'll be my "go to" plumber going forward. more

Judy's Review 9/30/2015

Mike was clean, very professional, went the extra step, tested our water, ordered, picked up and installed new Charger water softener, explained about how it works, removed old water tank, he also drained water heater thoroughly until water was running clear. He gave us plenty of time to make sure all was well. Later the same day Moen kitchen faucet water outlet broke off in my hand (not caused by anything Mike did, the weld broke. Mike came next day to replace with new Moen and left with everything working properly. I give the highest rating to Mike and Lake Cook Plumbing. more

Sewage Pipe Break and Sump Pump Re-install 8/21/2015

We were dealing with major damage resulting from a block in the sewage line after an outside pipe broke. Glynn did a rearrific job on the repairs and while here also detected serious problems with our sump pump operations. The original pit was inappropriately installed and both the prime and back-up pumps were out of order. He expertly repaired all of these and even brought to our attention a few other non-associated maintenance issues requiring attention from other suppliers. Glynn is a very friendly, extremely competent, honest and industrious plumbing professional. Lake Cook Plumbing shoud be very pleased to have him as an employee and representative of their fine company, and we are very pleased we had him to work on our myriad projects. We are more than happy to heartedly recommend Lake Cook Plumbing and if you can arrange it, ask for Glynn! more
