Judging by my recent experience, I'm surprised at how busy and popular this office is. Other reviewers offer a warm and fuzzy feeling about this place, but my experience was quite the opposite. The staff was confused and disorganized about the purpose for my visit, which took several phone calls to schedule. The assistant who checked me in was apathetic at best. The doctor was preoccupied, apathetic and slightly irrirated by me. She gave me information to take with me and then disappeared without so much as a goodbye or ""call me if you have questions."" I waited thinking she was coming back but she never did. I had no idea that I'm that irritating, but apparently I am. After waiting weeks for the appointment, I was very disappointed at the outcome and I left feeling like I had wasted my time. I won't be going back, but I doubt they will notice. more

I was referred to this office by a co-worker and am so grateful for the suggestion. I was already pregnant with my first child and came to find which doctor might be best for me. Wow, did I find the perfect match. I'm now pregnant with my second (and last) child and honestly get sad when I think that I'll only see everyone 1 time a year after this. They're all super friendly, all greet me by name, never do I feel rushed or have silly questions. They're just like family -which is exactly what I was looking for. Everytime I saw Dr. Lagalbo she was very short with me. I always felt ignorant in her presence & did not feel that she was trying to make this pregnancy a very good experience for me. Never once was I able to speak to her when calling the office and honestly most of the time I spent talking to receptionists who always put me on hold EVERYTIME I called. They referred me to get my big ultrasound done at northwest hosipital were I was also treated like a package (in out and done) I was givin one picture which shown my babies backbone. The Ultrasound tech really love her job if you get what i mean. Anytime I needed a doctors note It took 48 hours to get a return call about it. Thankfully I went on to a different clinic and i am so much more happy and comfortable here. Also there is a weird little asian lady that assists the obs there. She had ZERO personality and does not talk to you at allllll. I cannot stand when shes even in the room, I feel like I have a stranger staring at my va jay jay shes a weirdo. the professional staff is great. I began with this practice in 1989 (19 years ago) when it had a different name and was owned by different doctors. I have seen the nurse practitioner for my yearly care all this time and she referred me to one of the physicians for my pregnancy and whenever I needed surgical or some other advanced intervention. As a nurse myself, I appreciate her approach and approachability. I am able to call and speak with her personally with my questions without the interference of the minimally-trained medical assistants in the office.
