Great Food and Great Prices 2/1/2011

I was surprised when I checked into to Facebook Places at La Parranda that a Facebook Deal offer popped up for Fajitas For Two. The coupon gets you fajitas for two for 17.99. Since it was a good deal we ordered that. They immediately brought us chips and salsa along with water with lemon. The salsa had a very fresh taste to it and I think it is some of the best that I have eaten. The fajitas came out sizzling and they were very tender and juicy. The tortillas were very soft and fresh too. I highly recommended La Parranda and I will be going back to try the fish tacos. more

Great Family Run Mexican Restaurant 1/30/2011

I attended a business mixer at La Parranda and I was very impressed with the service, prices and the quality of the food. The owners are four brothers and they will go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied. You could tell that they use fresh ingredients because the salsa was excellent. They also have some of the best fajitas I have had on the the Northwest side of Houston. If you are near the Champions 1960 area I would suggest that you give them a try. They were a little hard to find since the restaurant sits off the road a little but well worth it. more

Really nice people, everyone is very welcoming. The food is really great and the prices are reasonable. I had the fajitas and they were very tender, the tortillas were soft and I think homemade. The salsa was also some of the best I have had in a while. more

Houston's Best Mexican Food 4/19/2010

I'm not a big fan of Mexican food but when I have it I want it to be good. So I was skeptical trying out a new Mexican restaurant. when drove up to the restaurant the exterior was really nice, and when Iwalked through the front door the interior was nice and it smelled good. So far so good. the waitress brought me a menu and the prices were good. Now i'm getting excited. I ordered the Taco el carbon and chicken enchilada combo plate, with ice tea. Well, I was very impressed. Even down to the real mint twigs in the tea. Pros: Fresh tastey food...large portions more
