I read these reviews, and I was a bit skeptical, but I figured I'd try this place out. I LOVED IT! Such a relaxing atmosphere. Very calm. The employees are great. These girls do whatever they can to suit the package to your needs. They will work with you on prices for your package and your retail. I usually don't write reviews, but I figured I should let the public know, that this place is not how these reviews make it out to be. The staff has completely changed since many of these reviews have been posted. It is a clean atmosphere, with reasonable prices!!!! You are known by name, and they keep in touch with you to make sure you are happy with your results. GIVE IT A SHOT, YOU WONT REGRET IT!!!!! more

The staff is rude, obnoxious, and half the time busy texting or talking on the phone. They only have 1-2 beds that are actually worth using, and half the time there is a wait time because the staff isnt quick enough to clean the beds. \r \r The owner, Stacy, is an absolute horror. Its obvious she is there for one reason, and one reason only.. to take your money by any means necessary. Do not make the mistake of getting a membership, your signing your soul to the devil. \r \r Any tans you do buy, you can't share or give away, but they'll be there for the rest of your life.. wooo hooo!1 ::sarcasm::\r \r This planet beach has the oldest, most out of date beds and machines. They havn't updated anything since they opened. The spray tan is off the frits every other day, the lotions are about 50% cheaper if you buy them online, and the owners as well as the employees are rude, selfish, money hungry feeders that will take your cash and run with it. more

This place is awful stay away... The beds are awful to begin with and the bulbs are rarely changed. They only want to get you wrapped into a monthly contract membership so when you realize your tan or lack of a tan is awful, you are stuck or they charge your credit card to cancel. The staff constantly hangs outside in the front smoking cigarettes or messing around on the internet and not taking care of the salon nor customers!!! Awful Experience!! I am new to the area and have been looking for a place to tan. I found Planet Beach on google. I read some of the previous reviews and was a little apprehensive about going here but figured it was only one person out of several who did not reccommend them. I thought I should try it at least once and form my own opinion. Boy am I glad I did! They were soooo nice to me and created a special package that would fit my needs and my budget! They even gave me a FREE body hydration treatment just for coming in! It was the best experience I have had in years and its a comfort to know that this is a large company with hundreds of locations so I dont have to worry about them closing (which is what happened to my last place). I dont normally write reviews and stuff but felt that the customer and quality of service far exceeded my expectaions I just had to write about it! Thank You Planet Beach! I love you guys already! I love this place! They are very clean and personable! The manager Nicole is VERY helpful with helping me get the best price for my money! They have the best prices for MYSTIC Spray Tan within 30+miles! They remember your names and really make you feel at home. I always get great color from their beds especially their platinum laydown! Contracts were very difficult to deal with. Was pressured into one being quoted that they were easier, when in all actuality they are not! Was not treated with respect, and was lied to by manager, and staff. Owner was no help and did nothing to appease the situation. Do not go here if you are looking for godd customer service!! Horrible customer service. I was lied to by the manager - Nicole - and told my account was downgraded and then charged the full amount the next month! Then she called me a liar and said I had never requested to change the account! Was never refunded the money. Owner was no help. Salon was messy and unorganized. Pros: None! Cons: Everything! more

I've been to a lot of tanning salons and this is the nicest one of I've been to and they have great prices. They have a tanning and / or mystic packages that fits anyones budget. more

Great salon. Very clean, great prices and the staff is very friendly. I used their platinum bed and did the Mystic and I got awesome color. I signed up for their unlimited membership for tanning and mystic AND since I travel a lot, I can use my membership at any of their salons in the US and Canada. Unbelievable!
