To Mr. Shouter, I guess they could have lied to you and given you a huge bill. But instead, they charged for the time they spent looking for something wrong. They came back to you with an honest answer. That is not a thief. All service professionals charge for their time,from my accountant to my doctor, and sometimes I get, ""we don't know what is wrong."" But I still pay my bill and don't SHOUT. I have been with Bret's for years, find the service to be great. No I don't always like the answers, but I know they are honest answers. These areas should be for honest, helpful comments, and not result in name calling. more

I have a pest control business, and Bret's Autoworks replaced an engine for me in one of my service trucks. They told me exactly what the problems were, it has over 230,000 miles with a broken piston, and they did not hide anything. They gave me options, whether I wanted a new or used engine, and within 3 days they had me back on the road. They have also taken care of my wife's van, done our tuneups, and worked on the transmission in my second vehicle. They have quality work and are good people. They are friendly and very experienced and knowledgeable. I wouldn't go anywhere else now. Since we have gone to Bret's Autoworks it has become the only place we go, whether for oil changes or engine work. We have been using them about a year.
