Kwik Kar Lube & Tune

TERRIBLE TREATMENT! My family had been using Kwik Kar for I think about 15 years for inspections on our vehicles. I took my 2013 Buick Verano to the Kwik Kar car wash across the street on 1825 on 9-6-2013 and they ruined the rim on my front left side. They drive the car up on to some kind of machine. One of the employees said it probably happended when they drove it up on to the machine that washes the car. \r \r I asked Warren (the manager) who was behind the counter how much it woud cost to shampoo the trunk and he said $15, then when I went to pay for the care wash and shampoo for the trunk he said, how much did I say for the trunk, $25.? I said, no. you said $15. \r \r I had paid for them to shampoo the trunk and Warren said it would take about 25 to 35 minutes, so I told him I would walk over to McDonald's and get something to drink and come back. When I came back about 45 minutes later, the trunk had not been cleaned and I asked Warren about it. He said one person thought the other had done it, so they were doing it now.\r \r When they finally drove the car around, I came out and after looking at the trunk, saw the rim and was shocked. That is when the employee told me it probably happened when they drove it up on to the metal rail type of washer. He called Warren over and Warren gave me the run around and said someone must have gotten to close to a curb when they were driving it. He brushed me off. I told him I wanted the corporat phone # and he said there wasn't one. I told him I wanted to speak to someone above him and he wrote his own name on paper with manager next to it.\r \r I called the main number where they do the inspections across the street and asked for the owner. His name is Terry Meyer. I left several messages and went up there a few times. Everyone gave me the run around.\r \r I called on 9-7-13 and spoke with Lewis. He said Terry Meyer (the owner) was very busy and probably wouldn""t call me back anyway. He said he would give the message to the District manager, Kevin.\r \r Today on 9-10-13, I went back over there and a man with the name tag of Troy came out, gave me the run around, said he would relay the message. I encouraged them to do the right thing and told him I didn't want to have to file a complaint or go to the media, but if they didn't do what is right, I would. He told me to go right ahead and walked away.\r \r A couple of years ago my mom took her car over there and they broke the antenna. I had to keep after them, but they finally replaced her antenna. I posted this info on their Facebook page and they took it down and won't allow me to post on their site anymore. PEASE be careful if you take your vehicle over there. They will not take responibility for their actions. I understand not wanting to have to pay for mistakes your company makes, but it is the right thing to do. Don't go thru what I am going thru. I truly want to express how pleased I was with Kwik Kar Lube & Tune, because I was being given large estimates for my car repairs from the dealership as well as Firestone. As a female, it is extremely important to know when you are being taken advantage of and I was being overcharged by the other two establishments. Mike McLamb, who manages the garage and is also a mechanic provide me with Excellent and Honest service and also provided me with a loaner car while my car was being repaired. The dealership was charging me $2000 for repairs ($1500 of that for labor), Firestone wanted to charge me $1700 for the repair ($1000 of that for labor) and my total price at Kwik Kar was $762 for parts & labor. \r \r I encourage each person to shop around before letting your dealership or any other so-called repair shop work on your car. I would recommend any person I meet to go to Kwik Kar Pflugerville, TX. If you want Great Work, Great Service, Dependability, Honesty and Trust - then choose Kwik Kar. more

Having a large family of drivers and six cars, I look for places I can trust for honest cost-saving service and repair. Since I found that this was more than a oil change facility, I met with the head mechanic and the owner/manager of the company. After several repairs on different vehicles I have found this to be an honest and well-managed business. The senior mechanic is a man of broad automotive knowledge and skill and understands my desire for cost-effective solutions to the maintenance of my 'fleet'. I know the experience of most folks when being 'pushed' for additional services to be performed when all you wanted was an oil change. My experience at this Kwik-lube has been polite and informative without the 'push'. My only regret is that they are always busy. However, this is a good indicator of the quality of service. Please clone the mechanic. I have found the owner/manager very open to positive and polite critiques of any sub-standard service or attitude (of which there have been few). I highly recommend this business and have done so often. Pros: Excellent knowledge/skills in senior mechanic and Service leaders Cons: Very busy business - must get in early! more

I have been taking our family Suburban there for several years and have been happy, but recently our antenna got broken off at their car wash, and they replaced it and when I offered to pay for it they refused-I couldn't believe it-that's the way to do business! more

I went here for a quote on some work I needed. On Saturday, they had a decent quote within 1 hr. I worked with Jeremy (awesome mechanic) who had my jeep wranger ready by Monday afternoon. My jeep runs better now than when I 1st bought it. I also got a free wash across the street. I live in Pflugerville, and they just earned my respect. These guys take really good care of my mercedes c220. Not too many are able to really service these cars but these guys know what they are doing. They twice have saved my wallet when the Continental Cars (authorized dealer merc. repair) guys tried to get me to make excessive repairs that were not really needed. I am a female and took my toyota truck in for an oil change at Kwik Kar in Pflugerville. I found a professional clean place where the employees made me feel very comfortable. They informed me about some service needs, but did NOT PRESSURE me!! What I really Liked is for $28 (after tax) I got an oil change that included all the fluids, (washer fluid being the big one for me) and they even give a FREE FULL SERVICE CAR WASH. MY truck looked GREAT!!!!! I even met the owner. I don't remember his name, but, I found it nice that with such a large business that he works along side with his employees, and as he said his Mom helps too!!
